Crochet a Cardigan at Home

No need for complicated machines or tools. You'll have the exclusive opportunity to join forces with Hannah Cross - an award-winning crochet designer and teacher - who will teach you the pro tricks and tips to make a beautiful Harris cardigan, sweater or sleeveless top. Once you've finished the workshop, you'll be able to make these designs in any size, from newborn baby to adult XXL.

During the course you will learn how to:

• Do basic stitches on thick yarn - which makes it much easier to learn.
• Read a pattern (not as scary as it sounds and an important core skill)
• Crochet the back panel of the cardigan.
• Crochet the two front panels (or a single front panel if you're making the jumper version)
• Crochet the sleeves with pleated cuffs.
• Attach all the elements together
• Add buttons and finishing touches.

This course is suitable for complete beginners.
 

• To practice your stitches you'll get a 10mm crochet hook (USA - size D) and one ball of category 6 weight yarn.
• For the main project you will get a 5mm hook (USA - H) and 3 balls of category 4 weight yarn.
• Buttons and a yarn needle for sewing them on are also included.
• A pair of yarn scissors.
