What you'll do

Come create a truly one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery with your child (or children)! In this fun, hands-on class, you'll discover the art of using soft jeweller’s wax to capture your child’s unique fingerprint. After the workshop the wax will be cast into your choice of metal - recycled sterling silver or 9k gold. You’ll have the option to make this wax fingerprint impression into a pendant, ring, or pair of earrings. Regardless of which you choose, you'll have a precious piece of jewellery that marks a very special time in life for you and little one(s)!

This workshop is perfect for complete beginners! You don't need to have any experience in jewellery making, and it is really easy and fun for both adults and children.

During the 1 hour workshop, you'll have the opportunity to choose the design of your jewellery and make the fingerprint impression with your child. To ensure your little ones are entertained at every stage there is a supervised crèche filled with fun toys and activities. While they play and make new friends, you can also socialise with other parents and enjoy learning something new. It's a wonderful chance to not only to create something special with your child, but to enjoy this unique experience together.

Every child’s fingerprint is unique to them. By wearing jewellery bearing this special mark, you can keep their touch close to your heart, forever reminding you of the bond you share with your child.

The designer and founder of Anonoma Jewellery. In 2014 I took my first class in lost wax casting and it forever changed how I made jewellery. Not only did I fall in love with endless limits of creativity in this method of jewellery making, but I enjoyed the therapeutic and meditative qualities of the process.

In 2020 I created the Ring Making Kits - an at home guide and series of wax carving tutorials so that I could share this passion of mine with others during lockdown. Following the success and fun that came from the kits I decided to start hosting some workshops!
