What you'll do
Ever looked at beautiful art and thought they were difficult to create? Learn to paint under the expert guidance of talented artist Marilyn and you can make your own work of art too! Create your own portrait using mixed media, collage and paint.You'll enjoy plenty of tips and advice to create loose impressionistic paintings without fiddling. You'll start with a warmup and then your will use your own photographs to try those paintings you always wished you could have a go at.

Your teacher
Marilyn Allis is a talented watercolour artist with a loose and impressionistic style. Marilyn loves to use strong vibrant colours to capture the movement and the energy of a scene. Working mainly in watercolour, but also acrylic inks and mixed media, Marilyn won the SAA artist of the year title in 1999. She has exhibited at the RI in the Mall galleries’ and appeared on Channel 4’s watercolour challenge.
