Is tufting an expensive hobby?
Tufting London-edition can be an expensive hobby, depending on the materials you choose to use. High-quality tufting yarn and canvas backing can be quite costly and will need to be replaced regularly, particularly if you’re making a lot of projects.
However, if you’re just starting out and want to give it a go without breaking the bank, there are plenty of affordable options available! For example, you could use cheaper synthetic fibres or recycled materials for your projects. You could even try using old fabric scraps or second-hand items for your backing — this is not only more wallet-friendly but also helps contribute to a more sustainable crafting practice.
If you’d like to learn the basics of tufting without spending too much at first, why not check out our selection of beginner tufting classes in London? Our friendly local teachers will guide you through the basics craft and provide you with all the tufting supplies and equipment you need to get started – all included in the price. Walk away with your creation and the skills and understanding to try this craft at home!
