3 hours Class size 1 to 2     label £120

Ever dreamed of making your own jewellery? Led in the comfort of a cosy and welcoming studio space in South London near Brixton, discover how to craft your own unique jewellery using the ancient technique of sand casting.

Whether you're pals, companions, mother-daughter duos, or any other combination, join me for a delightful jewellery-making experience. Leave with your own stunning, one-of-a-kind jewellery piece ready to wear!

The workshop kicks off with a coffee or tea, looking at varied samples of what you will practise on the session, followed by demonstrations. You have the opportunity to choose from a variety of ring or pendant models to replicate in silver. Using the delft clay casting method, we will press the object into an aluminium mold filled with specialised sand that retains its shape when compressed. Silver will be melted in a crucible and poured into the mold, creating a silver casting from your object. The casting will then need to be finished and polished to your taste!

You will leave with a gorgeous piece of solid silver jewellery, ready to wear and proudly show off!

Suitable for:

  • Individuals and couples
  • A lovely gift for her, gift for mum, anniversary gift or birthday gift.

No previous experience is required; you will be guided through the entire process step by step!
