Never dabbled with decoupage before? If you’re not too nifty with a needle, and knitting leaves you in a tangle, don’t worry - our Edinburgh craft classes and creative activities are designed for various ages and abilities, so you’ll still be able to join in with the fun. From starter sewing sessions and pottery for beginners to super simple step-by-step classes in weaving, soy candle making and lettering calligraphy, your talented teacher will guide you through the whole experience, and will be on hand to answer any questions. You’ll be able to spend a happy afternoon learning some fabulous new skills, getting creative and chatting with your classmates in a beautiful Edinburgh studio - what could be better?
Rejuvenating craft workshops and local experiences
Been burning the candle at both ends? Life been getting you down? Whether you’ve been working extra hard, or you just need some time away from the daily grind, heading off to a craft class is the perfect way to switch off, relax and add a little calm to your life. Whether you’re indulging in fun Edinburgh activities as part of a weekend city break, or you’re looking for ways to unwind in your hometown, spending time unleashing your creativity is a proven way to reduce stress and boost your mood - sounds great, right? Whether you decide to learn how to make your own jewellery, master the art of brush lettering or get stuck into a soothing pottery class, you’ll be back on track in no time!
If you don’t fancy going solo, our Edinburgh craft classes make great relaxing social activities for groups - so you can calm your nerves, grab your besties and get covered in clay or tied up in knots with a macrame workshop together! Looking for unique birthday party ideas? Gather your group and head off to celebrate the special occasion with a relaxing candle making class, creative basket weaving session or calming modern embroidery workshop. From fun team building activities to exciting date night ideas, our craft classes will help to beat the boredom, soothe your soul and enjoy time with your favourite people. What could be more relaxing than that?
Fun indoor activities
If the typical Scottish weather has struck, and you just don’t fancy stepping outside, don’t worry - you can still have fun and get crafty with a creative Edinburgh experience from the comfort of your own home. Our online classes, craft boxes and DIY kits help to bring the studio directly to your door - which means that rain doesn’t have to stop play! Whether you’re looking for things to do on your own at home, or crafty activities that the whole family can get stuck into together, we’ve got a virtual class that will tick all the boxes and get the creative juices flowing! If you’re at home with the little ones, banish the boredom and get them away from screens with one of our kids arts and crafts kits - from painting to pottery, they’ll be able to get their hands dirty and develop some great new skills at the same time.
If you’ve exhausted the latest offerings from Netflix and you want some time away from screens, our DIY kits and craft boxes make great entertainment for when you’re staying cosy on the sofa. Packed by our expert teachers with only the best equipment and materials, they'll help you learn at your own pace and master the art of brush lettering, explore the world of papercraft and origami or become a pottery pro without even leaving the house!
