I am a practicing artist with over 15 years experience. My speciality is portraiture where I have created projects and commissions for private clients, collectors and institutions over the past 10 years. My work is shown regularly and I have paintings in the Modern Portraiture permanent collection at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. I also have a passion for nurturing creative talent through teaching, giving confidence and encouragement to those who wish to discover their creative self. I have taught portraiture and still life to all ages both in private studio and online classes as well as on BA Fine Art, Diploma and Foundation courses in educational institutions. I believe everyone has the ability to be creative and learn skills in drawing and painting. I believe it is crucial to our development and sense of wellbeing.
