Ever wanted to learn embroidery? Or do you want to expand what you know with a new cultural skill? Join this online course and learn Mexican Otomi stitching for a beautiful piece of textile art.

This series of two embroidery classes will help you get to grips with the needle and thread and build your confidence with stitching vivid designs inspired by the beauty of nature. Hand-stitching is a rewarding and satisfying hobby and a great way to unwind.

If you're searching for a fun thing to do at home, hand embroidery design is a crafty hobby that you can use to cheer up your walls with hanging textile art or to makeover your wardrobe with some beautiful patterns.

Otomi stitching uses bright and bold colours to portray flora and fauna and is popular in textiles found in Mexico. Your craft kit will contain white cotton and Perle thread so you can give this creation a go at home.

By the end of this hand embroidery course, you will have a finished piece measuring 25x35cm, and all the skills you need to embellish your clothes with Mexican Otomi stitching.
