The teacher had such a gift for breaking down techniques and making them feel totally accessible. I came in curious and left with a whole new set of tools and a serious urge to create. If you’re even slightly considering it, just go. 10/10 would recommend

Katy created such a fun and relaxed environment and somehow made embroidery feel really easy and something I can actually do - after thinking about it but avoiding try it for so long because it seemed so complicated. I came away with a lovely keepsake for my daughter and skills that I'm actually going to use to create more things.

Venue close to Putney train station, held in the upstairs of the pub with nice tunes playing in the background. Lovely layout with great selection of threads and beads. Katy the teacher was very friendly and knowledgable guiding us all through the process step by step. The 2hrs went really quickly and although there wasn’t enough time to finish the piece, you are provided with all the items required to finish the piece at home. I thoroughly enjoyed the activity and end product and will be booking further sessions in the future.

Everything was brilliantly organised and thought through and she kept coming around the table to make sure everyone was shown the stitches. At the end we were all given a bag so we could finish our project at home. My son, his girlfriend and I all enjoyed the two hours, learnt a lot and felt it flew by.

Katie provided great structure and examples of how to complete the work laid out for us. Quality materials and choice of colours. An altogether lovely 2 hour session that flew by.

She provided us each with a hoop, an ‘initial’ design and an amazing selection of thread and sequins. She was calm and friendly and walked us through various techniques, providing extra help where needed. We all got to take our hoops and designs away with us to finish which was lovely to have a memento from the day! We had such a fab time and it was a fun and relaxing way to spend a couple of hours in the sun! Thank you!
