With support from your friendly cooking teacher Simon, you'll be shown how to make this vegan dish to suit your tastes and to surprise your family and friends. As you cook, your teacher will take you through the history and culture behind the food you're preparing.
At your cooking class, you'll learn:
Basic knife skills to prepare your vegetables.
A range of cooking skills to make your vegetables extra tasty.
How to dress and present your dish.
You also will learn to make a tasty side dish with aubergine to go with your main meal. By the end of your cooking class, you can sit down and eat the dish you've made, or you can take it home to enjoy with loved ones.

We are a wife-and-husband team running a small shop called Oriental Food in North London. Our little shop sells cooking ingredients from China, Japan and Korea – as well as other Asian countries!
As the shop is not big enough to be a one-stop shopping destination, we like to curate the food and ingredients we sell and focus on introducing only the ingredients we love to the local community.
As we both have a passion for cooking and sharing our love of food with others, we started to cook our own dishes to sell in our shop. If customers like the dish, we love showing them the ingredients that have been used from our shop!
As the dishes got increasingly popular, we started to sell freshly prepared Bentos and even started doing local delivery (find us on UberEats and Deliveroo).
More and more people came to us to ask how we cook our dishes and that's how our fun and friendly cooking classes and tasting experiences were born!
