Guided by your expert teacher, you'll cook your dish from just three fresh vegetables – aubergine, potato and sweet pepper. This dish is one of most popular Chinese dishes served in Chinese restaurants in China and in the UK. Learn to make it yourself at this cooking class!
With support from your friendly cooking teacher Simon, you'll be shown how to make this vegan dish to suit your tastes and to surprise your family and friends. As you cook, your teacher will take you through the history and culture behind the food you're preparing.
At your cooking class, you'll learn:
Basic knife skills to prepare your vegetables.
A range of cooking skills to make your vegetables extra tasty.
How to dress and present your dish.
You also will learn to make a tasty side dish with aubergine to go with your main meal. By the end of your cooking class, you can sit down and eat the dish you've made, or you can take it home to enjoy with loved ones.
Allergy Information
Soy is in sauce not possible to be replaced.
Gluten is in sauce however can be avoided.
Sesame in dressing, can be avoided.

All Add-ons are in the same class. It is to save your time and make the class more fun. Please allow extra time, 30 minutes to 1 hour. You can always contact us before booking to find out more details.

Refund and Reschedule
Please book the date you definitely can attend to help other customers' bookings.
There is no refund for cancellation.
Later than 15 minutes to agreed time will see booking cancelled with no refund or reschedule.
Possibility of Reschedule is very limited and will be charged £50 per booking.

Children under 18 are welcome as long as with paid adults. Every one requires a ticket. Children are learning better when parents participate.
A person under 18 cannot attend the class alone. We will ask for valid IDs if you look very young. You class will be cancelled without refund if failed to provide proofs. It is for your safety and required by insurance policy. If we don't follow it, this class will not be allowed to carry on. Thank you for your understanding.

We are a wife-and-husband team running a small shop called Oriental Food in North London.
We started offer cooking classes to commercial clients since 2012. Then it is soon became very popular in general public as well.
Currently we have more than 20 different cooking classes focus on authentic and traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean food. Also have more than 5 different tasting sessions. The sessions let customers explore the traditional style of dishes before deciding which class to learn.

Very delicious cooking class.
We made two classic Chinese dishes with aubergines. Very delicious! Supervised with very friendly tutor Hanna. She is very helpful and patient.
We came as a group of four. Two of us making vegan dishes and the other two making meat dishes. The shop is comfortable enough for four cooking own food.
Great experience and recommend to everyone who loves aubergines.

This is an amazing cooking classes.
They made aubergine such great dishes. And very great ideas to teach us to make them.
We must say Hanna and Simon gave us a best experience comparing to other cooking schools. Plus they have so many different classes. We will stay with them from now on.

Teaching was entertaining, relaxed and informative. Made for a fun evening leaning about China as well as learning Chinese recipes and cooking methods.
I enjoyed the class and the teacher was very informative. He told us lots about the Chinese cooking history. Learnt how to prepare potatoes for best results and how to cut and prepare aubergine. Areas we cooked in were clean and well organised/prepared.
