Great class, lots of FiMO provided in the kit which was great value for money. Irene explained the steps clearly but the class could have done with being half an hour longer as the flowers took a while to master. Irene sent a great video after the class which was helpful to finish the earrings off after they had baked.

A lovely and relaxing class which had clear steps to build up the picture. Great price for just the class as I already had the required materials. I liked the tip of using masking tape to create a crisp border and the different colours for creating the grass.

I really liked the option of choosing not to have the kit delivered and just doing the class for a much cheaper price as I already had the required materials from previous workshops so it is great that Hobbycraft are now doing this, I agree with other reviewers that it would have been much better to have a copy of the picture emailed before hand as despite the fact the artisan kept it on the screen and allowed us to take a screen shot, it was impossible to see the fine detail pencil lines on it and to see what she was doing on her page at times. She did keep holding hers up to the camera to see which helped.

Had to have the class rescheduled as when i attempted to access it using the link, there was no hobbycraft host however customer services were very helpful and rescheduled me on the next day’s class, It was a very fun and enjoyable class and allows creativity through choosing colours. I am really pleased with my canvas board and enjoyed seeing how it changed during the evening as the paint continued to move. I used different colours to the canvas for the three coasters that I managed to complete during the class and they all look totally different even with the same paint pot. Fantastic!

This was an enjoyable class which went at a good pace and had a great kit with plenty of clay left for another day. It was fun to work with the clay and use some different techniques to create the dishes. I left my clay to dry for a few days until it was fully white before painting.

This was a lovely class and I enjoyed creating my coaster which I have just removed from the mould today. I am pleased with the finished product however we were instructed to put less white fluid pigment drops into the resin mix and when i added my white mixture to the mould it had remained clear so I should have definitely added more white drops. Lots of the fluid pigment left over and gold flakes so I have ordered more resin to have another try myself. The safety instructions given were very clear and allowed the coaster to be created safely and I feel confident to create more independently.

This was a fabulous class which I thoroughly enjoyed. Irene gave clear and easy to follow instructions and regularly checked that everyone was following ok and was ready to move on. The kit provided was brilliant with lots of materials provided to continue using and making badges. I would definitely like to do more classes with FIMO.

Lovely well paced and enjoyable class and the resources supplied were excellent. Great range of paint colours on the palette. Very easy to follow and each step well demonstrated by Millie and we were able to practise certain skills before applying it onto the painting.

This was an interesting class and I enjoyed learning the techniques to create depth and texture using the ink pens. The hexagonal design looks effective and allows creativity to link all of the pieces together. The class was well paced and didn’t feel rushed. I have finished my picture in my own time after the class continuing to apply the techniques shown.

This was a really enjoyable set of classes. Louise and Millie taught some great techniques and there was obviously good communication between them as Millie knew where we were up to for the final class. I have learnt some great skills and techniques for drawing animals and I look forward to applying these to draw other animals in the future.

This was a perfect class for Easter. I have never used FIMO before and enjoyed learning the techniques to create the dish. Every step was clearly explained and Irene kept checking in to make sure we were ready for the next bit.

This was a very enjoyable class and the resources supplied were excellent. I was very happy with my sign once I had carried on and got to five layers of paint and I didn’t smudge too much of the posca pen thanks to the guidance given by Rugile.

A very enjoyable experience learning how to use the pyrography tool. It was good to have the small pieces of wood to practise the techniques on before completing the easter egg. Nice email afterwards with some useful links on to take it further. It was a relaxing afternoon’s project - thank you.

The class itself was too fast paced for me. Having done the beginner’s class to crochet I thought I would give it a try but I was with a lot of experienced crocheters in my workshop and I struggled to keep up with the pace as the magic ring was a new concept for me to learn and it was difficult to grasp at first. Kathryn was very patient and tried hard to help me whilst also allowing the others to move on to next steps. The video sent after the class has helped immensely and I am gradually working on creating my first egg at my pace.

This was a really lovely class and an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning. Rugilee was very clear in her explanations and demonstrated everything carefully. I am very happy with my finished sketch and the tuition we received.

I really enjoyed this free webinar and it was fun using my own watercolours to create my own flower meadow painting. Everything was explained clearly and there were very good explanations on how to create the different colour shades needed and different watercolour techniques. I particularly enjoyed the demonstrations of different flower types. Thank you very much for putting these free webinars on - very worthwhile!

Excellent free class. Really enjoyed creating the sunset picture. Every stage was well paced and it was good having another artisan monitoring the chat in such a big class. Thank you for an enjoyable relaxing and fun evening!

Had some problems getting the kit delivered but customer services were very helpful and it did just get delivered in time and everything needed was included. I enjoyed making the wreath and i love the spring colours within it. The tutor explained the steps clearly and sent a helpful email after the class with a reference photo and web-links for wreath making.

The artisan demonstrated everything clearly and was more than happy to answer questions or repeat and re demonstrate things as required. It was a full class and she kept checking and waiting for everyone to have a go at each part which was helpful. The pack was good quality and contained the instructions for the stitches, The artisan also provided a link to hobbycraft youtube videos to help us as we continue our crochet after the class. Thank you.

Once we got to the painting, I really enjoyed the class but I felt the artisan gave an introduction that was a bit too long and it was almost 20 mins into the class before we actually began putting water on the paper. As the class was only an hour, this meant the trees at the end were too rushed and i found the technique modelled with the fan brush difficult to apply and modelled too quickly so I have not yet added them to my landscape painting.

Very enjoyable, relaxing and well paced class. The resources provided in the pack were excellent and Louise explained and modelled all the steps clearly. I felt the class was the perfect length of time and it was a lovely way to spend the morning. Thank you.

This was an enjoyable class which was well paced and had plenty of time so it wasn’t rushed. The materials provided were good quality and fit for purpose. It was a little difficult to see the technique the artisan was using to cut the lino on the camera - mine didn’t seem to cut as deep as hers but i was able to carry out the techniques to create a good result for a first attempt. I will definitely give the other template a go and add some more details to the first one.

The resources provided in the kit were excellent value for money. I thoroughly enjoyed the flip cup method on the liquid art panel and thought the effects were incredible. I was really pleased with the finished design. I felt the second technique was a bit rushed in the time we had and i wasn't as pleased with the results. Maybe could have done with an extra half an hour on the time to get a better grasp of the second taught technique.

This was an amazing class which I thoroughly enjoyed. The pace was perfect and I enjoyed creating each element of the picture, i am really happy with my finished painting.

A great workshop learning how to create brush lettering. Now I have learnt the key strokes and how to use the pens to create them I will enjoy practising and perfecting this new craft. The pens provided were lovely colours and gave a great metallic finish.

Very enjoyable workshop with plenty of time so no need to rush. It was helpful to know how to marble the whole of the big bauble and got some great tips on how to finish the baubles once they were dry. Overall it was great value and I was very happy with the results. The box was great to use as a drying area so I am glad I kept it for this purpose.

This was a relaxing and enjoyable class. The pace was just right to make the flower in the time and the instructions were clear snd easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this class to others.

An enjoyable and relaxing class which was a good introduction to using water colours. I was the only one on the class so received tailored instruction at my pace which was really helpful. I was really pleased with my painting and have a better understanding of how to work with water colours.

This was a very enjoyable and relaxing class. I was lucky enough to be the only one booked on so the class went at my pace. Chloe was an excellent, patient and friendly teacher. We didn’t have much time for the baubles at the end but as I was completely new to brush lettering, I was happy to spend more time learning the skills of the lettering as I can create the baubles in my own time now.

I enjoyed making the Halloween wreath but I would definitely recommend getting some wire cutters as it was very hard to cut the stems of the bats in particular with scissors. Maybe they could be included in the pack to make things easier. I was pleased with my wreath when it was finished and the Artisan went at a good pace so it was easy to follow.
