In this jewellery-making workshop, you will learn how to craft beautiful, unique pieces using treasures found on the beach. Whether you bring your own finds or use our collection, you'll be guided through the process of transforming sea glass and other sea treasures into stunning jewellery to take home. You'll discover how to drill sea glass and incorporate it into silver settings, create silicone moulds to craft sea-themed silver charms, and assemble your creations into wearable memories.
No need to worry if you're new to jewellery making – this workshop is designed to be welcoming and enjoyable for all skill levels. We'll start by showing you how to drill sea glass safely and effectively. Next, you'll learn the techniques for adding sea glass to silver, resulting in gorgeous, bespoke pieces. We'll then explore how to create silicone moulds from your beach finds, which you can use to cast silver charms.
Throughout the activity, you'll be working with materials such as:
  • Sea glass
  • Silver
  • Silicone for moulds
By the end of the workshop, you'll feel inspired and accomplished, having created your own nature-inspired jewellery. You'll leave with a collection of beautiful pieces that perfectly capture the essence of your summer memories.

I began my journey into Silver Metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best.
I hold a Higher Diploma in Silver Metal Clay and am a senior metal clay instructor and glass teacher. I have been teaching for over ten years running classes from my studio in Market Bosworth and many jewellery schools and galleries all around the Midlands area. I am a member of The Guild of Jewellers and am on the education committee of the alliance of metal clay. I also hold a Gold student choice award. One of my proudest moments was visiting Tokyo and seeing one of my pieces displayed in the Silver Accessories Exhibition.
I would love to meet you on one of my courses so please book as soon as you can.
