What you'll do
This workshop will show you how to create your own silver bangle from silver wire and then design and make a solid silver charm for your bangle for you to take away and wear.
You will create and solder the wire to make the bangle, and you can also create a hammered texture if you prefer.
Once you have your bangle ready, you will use some silver clay to make a solid silver charm to hang from the bangle. I have lots of shapes and moulds that you can use to design your own unique charm.
You will polish your bangle and be able to wear it proudly home at the end of the session.
I will be on hand to help you have fun and help you through all the processes described above.

This is a great workshop for beginners and experienced jewellers.No skills or experience are required.
What you'll get
All tuition, tools and silver material to create a bangle and at least one charm. Drinks and biscuits are provided.
What to bring
Closed-toe shoes and a hairband to tie hair back.

I began my journey into Silver Metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best.
I hold a Higher Diploma in Silver Metal Clay and am a senior metal clay instructor and glass teacher. I have been teaching for over ten years running classes from my studio in Market Bosworth and many jewellery schools and galleries all around the Midlands area. I am a member of The Guild of Jewellers and am on the education committee of the alliance of metal clay. I also hold a Gold student choice award. One of my proudest moments was visiting Tokyo and seeing one of my pieces displayed in the Silver Accessories Exhibition.
