Before joining ClassBento, The Avenue Cookery School, a host of flavourful culinary classes nestled in Wandsworth, was facing a mountain of emails and logistical problems. As their business grew in popularity, so did the requests, questions and never-ending admin. Keeping everyone informed became an overwhelming task that took important team members away from spending time with students and nurturing the business.
Step 2: Introduce your secret ingredient – ClassBento!
ClassBento’s easy online booking system made their communication conundrum a thing of the past. Automated emails and texts helped keep students informed and in the loop, producing a positive and seamless experience from start to finish. Plus, it allowed the talented team at The Avenue Cookery School to break free from the inbox and save valuable time.
“Now, with ClassBento's email and text systems, we can put the time we used to spend in mind-numbing template emailing to more productive matters.” - Niv, Head of Marketing, The Avenue Cookery School.

Step 3: Sprinkle in some time-saving tech features

Harnessing the power of the ClassBento widget and innovative booking system goes beyond communicating with students. The Avenue Cookery School also found it helps streamline conversations within the team.
“We used to have occasional admin errors in the old way of communication which would have caused unnecessary stress to the chefs. Having all of our guests automatically populated to the Guest List of the night is hugely beneficial in communication between the office and the kitchen.” - Niv, Head of Marketing, The Avenue Cookery School.
No more missed dietary requirements, accidental double-bookings or other administrative errors that can stress out the chefs. With automatic guest lists from ClassBento, each class can run smoothly and allow each teacher to shine as they introduce their students to a world of cuisine.
Step 4: Call on your ClassBento sous chefs
Whether it’s applying SEO copywriting skills to make classes shine or personalising the customer experience, ClassBento is more than just a booking platform or an alternative to Eventbrite. They’re on a mission to help teachers feel supported at every stage, so going the extra mile is the standard.
“Always there trying to help and accommodate us if they can which is hugely appreciated and why I am also more than happy to suggest them as a solution to fellow teachers.” - Niv, Head of Marketing, The Avenue Cookery School.
The Avenue Cookery School has a special shout-out for Iain Wang, the ClassBento co-founder who stands out as a highlight on their journey.
“We came up with a big list of requirements, tweaks and changes we wanted in order for the widget to feel more Avenue. Iain was an absolute legend when it came to this. His knowledge and, more impressively, the speed he came back to us with those solutions was nothing short of amazing… This was a fantastic breath of fresh air and with his help, we were able to make it work.” - Niv, Head of Marketing, The Avenue Cookery School.
With ClassBento as their trusted partner, The Avenue Cookery School has not only conquered their communication hurdles but has also elevated their culinary classes to new heights.
“I hope we will keep doing business together for many more years to come!” - Niv, Head of Marketing, The Avenue Cookery School.
