What you'll do
Join a fun, friendly fused glass-making workshop with a festive theme! Make some handmade Christmas decorations or some presents for the yuletide season.
In this beginner-friendly craft class in West Lulworth, Dorset you will choose to make two of the following items: a set of two coasters, a set of three decorations, artwork for a stand and a candle curve. We will get in the festive spirit with a few festive tunes and a mince pie or two!
You'll use screen printing and embossing techniques combined with coloured glass sheets, granules, glass rods and metallic sheets to create two fused glass items.
Your friendly host and talented glass artist, Wendy, will guide you every step of the way and answer any questions you may have as you get busy learning fused glass techniques.
If you're looking for team building activities or Christmas activities, this class is a brilliant chance to get creative with a group. You'll finish with two beautiful fused glass creations to call your own and the skills to make more!
Wendy will fire your glass after the workshop, ready for collection 14 days after your class. An additional postage fee of £6 per person is required if you can’t collect the glass in person.
Please note:
For students with allergies/animal fears: this workshop is run from Wendy's home studio where she has a pet dog and cat. The dog is a poodle mix (hypoallergenic) who is out with a dog sitter whilst the workshops are on and the cat is kept out of the workshop space.
