Bargello is the technique of layering straight stitches to create striking geometric and colourful patterns. Your embroidery kit includes a short video on the basics of bargello so you can get started with this stitch and bring your wonderful wall hanging to life.

This project comes in the ultimate power palettes. You can choose from:

Initially thought to have been named after a pair of chairs that were found in the ‘Bargello Palace’ in Florence, Italy, the craft is all about layering up straight stitches to create geometric and colourful patterns.
A simple and easy craft to master, Bargello is not only methodical and mindful, but once you know the basics, you’ll be creating your own patterns and colour palettes in next to no time.
