I found this class through Google and suggested it to my partner, and in the end we made it a family day out with our mums.
Amanda was a fabulous teacher, who showed us how to throw with a great amount of patience and expertise. It was exciting to for from zero experience to having something that actually resembled a usable bowl.
The studio was bright and airy and had a comfortable welcoming feel to it.
We absolutely cannot wait to head back to get our bowls painted before they’re glazed, and I would highly recommend this class if you’re curious about giving pottery a go.

We had a lovely time meeting and chatting with Amanda and we enjoyed the visit to Trinity Buoy Wharf. The overall experience was lovely and fun but there were a few "technical issues" with the materials used to complete the technique which meant it wasnt all together sucessful. However that said we really enjoyed our visit and the time Amanda spent with us helping us to celebrate my Birthday and our wedding Anniversary. The experience was special even if the outcome wasnt a total sucess. Thankyou for making our day special.

I brought my mum for her birthday as a surprise, and we had a fantastic time! Our workshop facilitator explained everything super clearly. As my mum finished speedily, she was allowed to make two items! Absolutely would recommend for any occasion. A lovely variety of options to choose from for the Kintsugi art. I also loved the small group size too. Thanks so much!

Really lovely session. The three of us in the class had very different levels of experience but our teacher gave us focused support and we all made lovely pots. Very satisfying class.

The class was outstanding! We went for a team social with work, six of us in total. A lot of us were beginners, Amanda walked us through the process and was extremely patient as we learned along the way. It was a great laugh and a super cool experience, couldn’t recommend more! Thanks, Amanda!

Valeria who was teaching the class and Amanda who runs the space were so so warm and welcoming.
The class from start to finish was totally amazing, Valeria explained things so clearly and had such an amazing approach to making which was so deeply skilled and experimental at the same time. I left feeling like I learnt SO MUCH in 3 hours which I look forward to putting into practice at home and coming back for another class soon. Valeria was incredibly attentive to also knowing what I was interested in through us talking and specifically what things I could learn that could suit me :)

Got this as a gift for my mum's birthday and we loved it! We highly recommend Amanda's class she's a great teacher very patient and encouraging. She explained the steps very clearly and was really attentive to us the whole time which made it possible for us to catch on quickly to this challenging skill and come out with two lovely pots which we are very proud and happy with. We're excited to come back and glaze them soon. She even took these lovely pictures of us with our phones so we could remember the experience.

This class was great! Amanda was a great teacher who explained each step really well and gave examples. I had a lot of fun wheel throwing and would recommend this class to anyone who wants to give it a try! The location was also really cool :)

I have always wanted to try wheel throwing and so really glad I found this taster class. The notification for my session didn’t come through so I wasn’t expected for my class but Amanda was amazing and super accommodating getting everything set up straight away. All materials where provided and a fab location at the wharf. Amanda was such a great teacher, giving really clear instructions, patience and just overall a really positive studio space. I would highly recommend and look forward to trying another class soon.

One of the best pottery classes I’ve had and I’ve had a few Amanda was so lovely, very patient and most importantly a really good teacher! The studio is in a nice location, everything was set up prior to our arrival and we got stuck in straight away. We came away with two lovely pots. - our teacher was lovely! She provided clear step by step guidance
- venue was a very cool studio in an outer-London location. Really nice place to get away and feel creative. I do recommend leaving a bit of extra time to find the studio if you are unfamiliar with the area.
- great value for money! £100 covers 2 people for an initial 2 hour wheel session and a glazing session a couple of weeks afterwards.
- overall we had a fantastic time and I recommend! A great activity to do with a partner, family member or friend. Be prepared to get hands on and a bit messy, as well as concentrate for 2 hours.
