We didn’t feel rushed at all, and she took time to explain the throwing process to both of us. We were able to make two pots each and then choose which one we’d like to take home. Would highly recommend as a date idea, was a lot of fun!

All materials provided, venue was so cool. By the end of the session we had both made some bowls which looked exactly like bowls!

The studio is in a really interesting location, and the doors were open so it was lovely and fresh (outside was baking). She carefully taught us the techniques we needed. We got a tester lump of clay first, and then the proper one to make our final piece. We'll get to return to decorate in a few weeks. Looking forward to it! Definitely worth the money!

The studio was well equipped and chill, nice tunes playing the whole time. Feel confident that if you make a mistake, Amanda can easily resolve the errors you make, we now have two cool unique pots to remember our anniversary this year, would defo recommend

She explained the steps very clearly and was really attentive to us the whole time which made it possible for us to catch on quickly to this challenging skill and come out with two lovely pots which we are very proud and happy with. We're excited to come back and glaze them soon. She even took these lovely pictures of us with our phones so we could remember the experience.

The studio is in a nice location, everything was set up prior to our arrival and we got stuck in straight away. We came away with two lovely pots. The place was nice, had a little difficulty tracking it down but found in the end. Description of Bright orange and yellow containers might have made it easier for me to find. Making the pot was fun, and you could be as daring as you like, the class was very autonomous and although you have instruction, you could get hands on and do it all yourself. Very fun, very therapeutic. Good job!

Really nice place to get away and feel creative. I do recommend leaving a bit of extra time to find the studio if you are unfamiliar with the area. - great value for money! £100 covers 2 people for an initial 2 hour wheel session and a glazing session a couple of weeks afterwards. - overall we had a fantastic time and I recommend! A great activity to do with a partner, family member or friend. Be prepared to get hands on and a bit messy, as well as concentrate for 2 hours.

It was brilliant value compared to many others as I brought this for my boyfriend, but I got to come along for free too and the cost of glazing and firing your pots is included. The location is really great and it made for a really nice day!

It’s fun to take turn on the potters wheel and see your creation emerge … my pot was a bit wonky but it’s all part of the fun. Great studio atmosphere and a quirky location. Very patient and enthusiastic teacher and artist, which made for a pleasant, memorable and enjoyable evening. We left with a sense of achievement and can’t wait to see our pots being glazed and fired in the kiln! Looking forward to attending some follow up classes, after this taster session.

She took the time to make us feel extremely welcome by chatting a bit about what we expected out of the session, as well as giving us a brief rundown of her experience in the ceramics space. She also explained the key concepts, and give sufficient time for demonstrations and practice before guiding us to make our own ceramics. The venue definitely gave off the right vibes, complete with calming therapeutic music. All materials were provided, including an apron to keep your clothes clean - that being said, it can still get quite messy so be mentally prepared for that. But really, it's just part and parcel of the experience. At the point of making the booking, I was quite surprised at the price but after the session I'm fully satisfied that I got my money's worth because of the individualized attention and mentoring that we received. During the session, we got to create our own ceramic (whether it's a pot or a cup or a bowl) with all the required attention. Furthermore, for no additional cost, we can leave the ceramic there for it to dry out, glazed and put in the kiln. We were told that we would be invited back after a few weeks to do the glazing before it goes in the kiln again. Overall, I went in apprehensive, but came out feeling so happy, like I left an art therapy session. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a couples' activity, or even something to do with a loved one.
