What you'll do
Join us for a unique ceramic painting and glazing class, where you will learn the art of transforming blank pottery into colourful masterpieces. In this workshop, you'll be guided through various glazing and pottery painting techniques and get to take home hand-painted piece of pottery.
- No prior experience or creativity needed
- Calming and enjoyable process
- Firing done on-site in kilns up to 1200 degrees over 18-hours
- Choose from a pot, bowl, or cup - all hand-made by us.

Knowledge required
You don't need to be creative or have any experience, pottery painting and glazing is a calming enjoyable process for everyone.
What to bring
Everything is supplied including an apron. It can get a little messy so please do not wear your best clothes.

- 5/5 from Manni Bhoarla, attended Nov 2025: We had a great time at the class, Amanda was fab, there was lots of inspiration in the work shop, but I'd recommend that you think of some ideas first so that it will save you some time in the class and you can focus on painting.

The teachers were friendly and had great enthusiasm throughout. They explained every step and showed us several techniques. All equipment is provided, all you have to do it turn up! - 5/5 from Catarina, attended Aug 2024: The venue is at one of my favourite places in London, worth to go earlier to browse around as this wharf is full of little surprises and if you fancy arrive by uberboat, feel free. Amanda was great, she put me at ease and was really helpful explaining techniques etc At first I thought my project will get messy or I was being too ambitious but the great thing I have learnt about ceramic with Amanda is that the finishing are the most satisfying part of it and you can fix pretty much everything. You get to collect your own piece of art after a few weeks (the norm for the industry, as the process itself takes long so don't be surprised). Go for it.

Nevertheless we could do more than one piece but depends on time individual takes :) Overall it was a fun experience and would do it again.
