Shake things up with a Christmas cocktail or two
If you’re looking for festive things to do in London that’ll provide the ideal opportunity to get your group of friends together, it’s hard to beat cocktail classes. Mix and muddle your way through the drinks of the season, honing your cocktail making skills and testing out your creations. Learn how to get the combination of spices just right for a sumptuous mulled wine, and add a seasonal splash to old classics — cinnamon martinis and Christmas cosmos, anyone?
You’ll be shaking and shimmying the night away under the guidance of an expert mixologist, who’ll teach you all about finding the right balance between botanicals, mixers, spirits and beyond. Why not add an extra layer of fun to the session and award a prize to the person who comes up with the best signature cocktail?
Alternatively, for a work Christmas party that’s more low-key, why not book yourself and your colleagues into a paint and sip session? Getting out of the office is a vital way of establishing and reinforcing workplace communication and collaboration, and it’s also a fantastic way of rewarding your team’s year of hard work. We’ve all been at a Christmas office party that could use a little more excitement — and paint and sip classes are a great chance to enjoy colourful fun with your colleagues. After all, you’re combining the best of a cocktail making workshop with the creative advantages of art classes in an accessible, welcoming environment. Reconnect your mind and body as you get comfortable with a paintbrush and bond with your colleagues over a drink of something delicious.

"Had such a great time at Christina and Kat’s wreath-making class! They were so friendly and welcoming, and we had everything we needed to create beautiful wreaths. They were patient and full of great tips, helping us design wreaths we’re so proud of. Highly recommend for a festive, fun activity!"
