What you'll do
On the hunt for some creative London activities to get you into the spirit of the season? Unlock your creativity and whip up a personal batch of Christmas cards for all your loved ones this year in one Christmas craft class.
Guided by a talented teacher from Make Your Own, you will learn all about lino printing. You'll be introduced to the tools and techniques needed to carve out your linocut designs. With one single block of lino, you'll create multiple prints in a variety of colours!
To kick off this festive workshop, you will pick and draw your design. You'll be working in your teacher's colourful London studio, so there will be plenty of inspiration around. Then you can get carving, rolling and inking as you experiment with different methods for transferring lino art onto paper.
You'll be supported every step of the way and given all the tips and directions you need to bring all your yuletide ideas to life. This class is perfect for beginners, so don't worry if you've never tried printmaking before.
This class is perfect when you're looking for fun things to do in London this winter with your pals. From team-building ideas to a family Christmas party with a difference, take some time out of this busy season to relax with your loved ones and learn new skills. You can even bring along some festive drinks to get you into the spirit!

M.Y.O (Make Your Own) is The Creative Space for Grown-Ups! Set up by Diana and Sam in October 2017, our mission is to help adults explore their creative side! Everyone is creative, they just need an outlet.
We provide the space, materials, equipment and guidance, so you can flex those creative muscles together. We've hosted over 10, 000 guests in our Central London studio and regularly host creative off-sites, parties, celebrations, team building days and events. We work with companies and brands and run over 14 different creative classes guests can book onto, and can do bespoke ones too.
No experience is required, everything is included and we're BYOB too!

Sarah Beckett was incredible teacher, welcoming, supportive, put you at ease with what you were doing, plus just so lovely to talk to.
Great venue, central and such a lovely chilled crafty environment, all the conviences you require there too.
All the materials provided and a selection, you could print on card or material and take home a finished item and re useable Lino print.
Worth the cost fir everything included, but priceless the experience and taking time out of our crazy days to learn a new skill and be creative. Great socialising event too.
Christmas Lino cutting was such a great choice and was taught everything to continue on your own if you wished too at home. Loved my finished product and also gives you the confidence to try more creative skills.
