Schiele Inspired Life Drawing Class

A life drawing session to remember.

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 40     label £18

Join our unique drawing class in Manchester, where you will learn how to recreate some of famed artist Egon Schiele's portraits with live models. Using their poses, you will create beautiful pieces of artwork inspired by this iconic artist to take home with you.

Don't worry if you're new to drawing; our class is open to everyone, and our warm and welcoming atmosphere will make you feel right at home. Verity and Jackson, our models, are in their twenties, capturing the essence of Schiele's era before the First World War with their semi-nude poses.

The class will run smoothly, with poses ranging from 5 to 60 minutes, giving you plenty of time to sketch and experiment. We will provide all the necessary materials for you to work with, ensuring that you have everything you need to unleash your creativity.

Through this experience, you'll not only learn the techniques of drawing but also immerse yourself in the world of Schiele and his lovers. It's a fantastic opportunity to dive into art history and create stunning pieces of art that you can be proud of. Don't miss out on this enriching activity in Manchester.

Life Drawing+ has been running since 2008 and has supported many people in improving their drawing and art skills over these years.

We provide a range of models to learn how to draw the human figure in a series of short poses, from 2 minutes up to 20 minutes. Life Drawing+ has been running amazing life drawing sessions since 2008.

We run traditional classes, but from time to time we also run theme sessions for broadening our drawing skills and exploring contemporary issues. We, therefore, invite a wide range of diverse models, all with different bodies, skills and stories.

We follow a peer-to-peer learning style by looking at the drawings produced in class and talk about the different styles and materials at the end of the class.

Beginners welcome!
