With no other students to worry about, you'll have the flexibility to set your own pace, focus on specific areas of interest, and ask as many questions as you like. You can even select the music played in the class.

Join Sandra at her charming Edinburgh pottery studio by the harbour. By the end of this pottery class, you'll feel inspired and empowered to keep making more ceramics!

Once you've made your pottery creation, Sandra will fire it. This will result in a beautiful piece that you can show off or give as a unique gift. You can collect your piece from the studio in three weeks, or for an extra charge, you can have it posted to you. If you're in a hurry, you can also choose to pay for a faster process, which means you can collect or have your piece shipped in just 10 days instead.

The Creative Ceramics studio was opened in 2005 as a space for ceramic artists to work in Edinburgh. The well equipped ceramics and pottery studio has two throwing wheels, and three kilns.

The owner, Sandra Brown, is an alumni of Glasgow School of Art where she was awarded the Bram Stoker medal for best imaginative work of the year.

Pottery classes for groups range from absolute beginners pottery to those wishing to further their knowledge and skills in ceramics and everything in between, including people with learning difficulties and additional support needs, who also enjoy the therapeutic benefits of working with clay.
