Your teacher

Hello, I'm Sarah and my passion for using clay is not only about creating beautiful forms, it is also about helping people support their mental and emotional health, through making beautiful pottery pieces — all with just their hands, some clay and easy-to-learn techniques!

I believe everyone deserves to tap into their creativity, and boost their mental and emotional well-being through working with clay, whoever and wherever they are — and I have a passion for making this possible and accessible for all.

I have always been interested in creating functional pieces that can also be used for people to admire in the home. Most of my inspiration comes from nature and creating organic pieces which are tactile and pleasing to the eye. I try to keep each form simple and strong using simple decoration with line, texture and glazes to enhance each shape.

Let me share my top tips, tricks and essential techniques for creating stunning, functional ceramic designs for the home, at home. Let's get creating together!
