Kintsugi Repair Kit

All of the materials you need to do your own beginner's Kintsugi repairs at home.

  £28

Whether you’re a curious beginner, a solo learner, or looking to continue your practice after one of our in-studio workshops, this kit gives you everything you need to explore the art of Kintsugi at home.
Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese technique of repairing ceramics with gold or bronze, transforming broken vessels into objects even stronger and more beautiful than before. More than just a repair, it’s a mindful, creative practice that celebrates imperfection and impermanence.
With our hand-assembled kit, you’ll be guided step by step—through both written instructions and a short video tutorial—to create glowing golden repairs using traditional hand-blended French bronze, chosen for its warm lustre and elegant finish.
Perfect for beginners or those continuing their journey, the kit includes all the tools and materials we use in our signature workshops, so you can turn a broken bowl, vase, or keepsake into a meaningful work of art.
Don't forget to check out our other listings for Beginner's Kintsugi sessions! Taught in our Hackney studio, you will get hands-on direction through your first repair. A perfect complement to the kit.

FAQ

What does 'casual food contact' mean?
Due to the material used in modern-hybrid repairs such as the types found in repair kits, regular food contact with cooked, hot or prepared foods is not recommended! However, incidental food contact (ie. crackers) is usually fine for this type of repair, hence the description 'casual'. Your finished lines will also be unsealed, and therefore the finish can wear or patina more quickly with frequent washing and use. All of the materials used in our kits are vetted by professional restorer, who wants nothing more than to provide you with safe and long-lasting repairs!
How long is shipping?
All orders aim to be shipped within 48 hours of receipt. Shipping within uk only, all orders will be sent via Royal Mail tracked 48. Tracking number will be provided on day of shipment.
I would like to order a gift ahead of the big holiday rush! When is the last day I should get my order in?
It's always tricky to predict how quick shipping will be over the festive season! However, for safety, your pre-Christmas orders should be placed by no later than December 11th to ensure it's safe arrival in time for gifting season.
