What you'll do
Make your very own beautiful recycled textile tapestry to hang with pride on one of your walls!
Macramé is a creative and relaxing craft, which is also a great way of relieving stress. In this small group course, you will meet once a week on Monday evenings for a 2-hour workshop in the L'Étoile studio in the Old Market, where your host, Aggy from Knots and Stalks, will teach you how to knot your own macramé tapestry.
Learn new knots in each session and complete the course with a feeling of satisfaction as you hang your tapestry up and admire it!
Course dates:
- This course runs for four weeks on Monday evenings from 6.30pm - 8.30pm.
- The course dates are 8th April, 15th April, 22nd April, 29th April.
Materials are not included in the course price. You can either purchase your own cord or order recycled cotton cord through your tutor for approximately £30.
This course is a great opportunity to learn a relaxing and creative new hobby. Come along and make the perfect new addition to your home or a thoughtful gift for your loved one.

Your teacher
Knots and Stalks deliver creative and holistic wellbeing services in Bristol and surrounding areas. Aggy Rucin is a macramé tutor and a sound therapist using both of these techniques to help her clients learn new skills, develop introspection and self-esteem, and enter therapeutic brain waves and meditative states. From stimulating macramé workshops to relaxing sound baths she covers a spectrum of activities incorporating the use of herbal medicine, tarot cards and practices such as sharing circles.
For her macramé pieces, Aggy uses recycled cotton cord produced with no toxic dyes, minimum CO2 and water use and sourced from a small scale producer.
