What you'll do
Add some personalised bling to your ears with this jewellery class hosted by talented, local silversmith, Charlotte with The Silver Duck. Discover the art of silversmithing in this private, half-day experience!
Over three and a half hours, you will design and craft your very own DIY earrings. All the silver used is included and at the end of your experience, you'll have a finished set of bespoke earrings to be proud of.
Your experienced teacher Charlotte forges and creates a range of silverwork and jewellery and has been guiding workshops since 2013. She has plenty of top tips and silversmithing techniques to share with you, so you can be sure you are in good hands.
You'll be able to create shapes by using a piercing saw to cut out your design and will have the option to add texture using hammers and stamps. Charlotte will work with you to choose the right tools to make your design and you'll be able to try techniques like doming, forming to make 3D forms and soldering.

Teaching the craft and sharing knowledge through public workshops, The Silver Duck offers jewellery and silversmithing workshops and courses to introduce you to the world of silversmithing.
The Silver Duck designs and produces bespoke artisan silverware, tableware and jewellery. Crafting beautiful utensils and tableware from sterling silver and English holly wood, bringing the joy of fine dining to your home. Charlotte creates exquisite yet functional pieces of art for the kitchen to bring people together over food and be in the present moment.
