7 hours Class size 1 to 8     label £300 - £400 per class (£300 for 1-4 guests., £400 for 5-8 guests.)

If you love gardening, add a new personal item to your tools with this basket weaving class. Whether you're collecting wild mushrooms or weeds in your garden, this stunning harvest basket makes it much more fun.

You will learn different weaves guided by your talented teacher. There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions about this DIY craft as you master weaving techniques. Add in some creativity by selecting your own combination of natural willow colours and make this basket uniquely yours.

This craft class is mobile and all the basket weaving materials will be bought right to you. Gather your friends for a fun day together as you work with your hands on a beautiful project.

Once your day of weaving is over you will have a finished basket to love and use.

Please note:
As this class is mobile, you will need to provide a venue large enough to weave in e.g. an outdoor space. If you are unsure, please message your teacher for more information.

Using traditional methods to create contemporary design Green Spiral Willow is all about using willow to create stunning woven items.

Green Spiral Willow was created by Yanina Stockings. After growing up in the highlands of Scotland, she was surrounded by the ancient Caledonian pine forest where she takes a lot of inspiration. She has a BSc Hons in conservation and sustainability is very important to her.

All the willow and rush supplied in her classes are sourced from the south of England and she tries to harvest her own locally. This helps her bring the ancient rural craft of weaving to everyone in an eco-friendly way!
