In this workshop, you will learn how to create your very own crochet pencil/makeup case from scratch in this 6-hour course over two weeks. From choosing your yarn to mastering basic crochet stitches, you'll discover the art of crafting a functional and stylish accessory that suits your personal style. Throughout the class, you will receive step-by-step guidance and hands-on practise to help you bring your unique creation to life.
No need to feel intimidated if you're a beginner – our friendly instructors will make sure you feel comfortable and confident as you navigate the world of crochet. You'll be working with your choice of yarn colours and you'll get a crochet hook for you to keep.
In this course, you’ll learn how to start a project, the basic foundation chain useful for any crochet item, and every stitch: single crochet stitch, half treble stitch, and double stitch, increase and decrease of stitches, and how to read a pattern and its symbols.
By the end of the two-week workshop, you'll proudly take home your very own handmade pencil/makeup case, a tangible representation of your newfound skills and creativity.
