Fun things to do in Glasgow this weekend

If you’re looking for fun things to do in Glasgow this weekend, why not switch up the usual routine and swap coffee shops for craft classes instead? Whether you’re visiting the city on a short break and want an exciting way to see the sights, or you’re a local who’d like to get involved in the arts community, heading off to a wheel throwing workshop, scrapbooking session or jewellery making course will let you see the city and get creative at the same time.

Not the crafty type? Not to worry. If you don’t know your pliers from your pinking shears, and you’ve never worked with wax before, don’t panic – all of our Glasgow craft classes are designed for a range of interests, abilities and experience levels, so everyone can join in with the crafty fun. Our expert teachers will be on hand throughout the class to guide you through the process and answer any questions that crop up along the way – whether it's how to make scented candles or the best ways to write in calligraphy with style, they’ll make sure everyone is getting it right. With an emphasis on laid back creativity, this is a great way to switch off, relax and really make the most of your Saturday afternoon!

Rejuvenating craft workshops and local experiences

If you fancy heading off on your creative journey solo, we have plenty of public classes that will connect you with other like minded crafters – so you’ll be able to learn some fresh skills and make new friends at the same time. Got a birthday party to plan, a hen do to organise or a team building day to arrange? Give your crew a celebration with a difference and opt for one of our fun craft classes to make it a day they’ll remember for all the right reasons – not a trust fall, tacky tiara or birthday banner in sight!
