4.8 (140)Brush Party is about making art fun. It’s where people of all ages and abilities can come and discover their artistic side. Most people don’t believe in their own creativity when it comes to art, but Brush Party is about to change that. Our fun step-by-step approach makes painting easy.
You don’t need to have ever painted before to come to one of our events. Take a look at our calendar and choose the artwork you’d like to recreate. We walk our guests through creating their own version of our theme in easy to understand stages. You will be amazed at what you can achieve whilst having fun with friends, online or at our popular locations throughout the UK.

As someone who hasn't drawn since they were 13 and had no artistic ability (even my matchstick men needed a label) I had zero expectation of producing a recognisable picture and felt a bit anxious. Jo was friendly and reassured us all that we would all be able to do this. Her instructions were clear, detailed and step by step. She came round the room to check everyone was OK and whether they needed any help. At the end of a fun, no pressure evening, Jo was right, we had all produced a great painting, even me. In fact a friend asked if I'd always painted!

We had a great evening celebrating a friends birthday. Jo was super friendly & very patient The only criticism is that we were quite cramped & at one point had to have the mixing palette on our knees. We were very proud of our pink flamingos. Great fun thank you Jo

Nice small group.
Jo was great.
Venue had background radio which was a bit annoying.
I have been on a similar one and the canvas was larger. It was also cheaper £30.
Impressed myself that I had a cow at the end.

The class was so much fun. The step-by-step instructions and input from Jo meant even someone like me, who has never painted before, produced a picture good enough for the wall! Jo was so lovely and the venue ideal. We will definitely do another class.

Really good fun. There was an example to work towards while Jo showed us what to do and explained how to do it. She was really encouraging and a great laugh.
All the resources were readily available and it felt like great value for money to go home with a completed canvas.

If you want a different night out that was really good fun definitely book up to sip and paint.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and made new friends in the process.
Step by step instructions and guidance meant we all left with a great painting.

We booked Brush Party as it was my mums birthday and something nice to do together.
Jo was absolutely amazing. She was a great teacher and so bubbly and welcoming.
The venue was close to home and it was a lovely venue and spacious upstairs.
We have not painted with acrylics before and was so good to learn how to create a background and build it up with colours.
The class was worth every penny it cost.
The whole experience was great!

What a fabulous evening. Wasn’t really sure what to expect and I was a little nervous when I saw a blank canvas but Jo went through everything step by step with very clear demonstration and explanation and lots of encouragement along the way. I was delighted with the end result and will definitely be back again

This is my 3rd class with Jo and she is a great teacher. Everything we needed was readily available. This was a chance for my girlfriends and I to catch up. The room layout was a little difficult to see the canvas although Jo did come around to show us all the next steps. Looking forward to the next class.

Jo and her mum were fab hosts. This is the second brush party of Jos I’ve been to - and will be booking on again! Despite not being 100% happy with my elephant - I have the materials and some artistic knowledge to make a couple of amendments at the weekend! I definitely prefer a landscape to animals lol! My family and I had an absolutely fantastic time! Jo was clear and showed everyone step by step how to produce the painting. All the equipment was there and we we were given more paint/tissue etc whenever we needed it! We all produced paintings to be proud of. The venue was really pretty and Jo’s lighting was fab, so even at night you can see your canvas clearly. The music was fab and really got the party mood. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who loves painting or has never painted before but wants to try something new because we were all amazed at the results!

I was a bit nervous as I went along on my own. Jo was very welcoming and so were everyone else.
Jo explained everything brilliantly, enabling everyone to produce fantastic unique paintings.

A suprise birthday present for a friend. First time for her, 2nd for me. The venue is good. The layout and organisation work well. Materials set ready to start. Started a little late, finished nearly 30 mins later than expected. The 2nd half of the session when added the details were more complicated and felt a little rushed. Other wise all good.

Experience of the class was good , smaller class like this one are better . Location is great, however the place is a bit tight to move around .

I’ve been to classes before and found the pace a bit rushed, tonight’s class was a really good pace. Great venue too was good to be in a cosy private space. Really happy with my result. Thought the canvas was a smaller size than I’ve used before, but as it’s a Christmas theme and won’t be out all year it’s actually a perfect size. Not keen on the new easels but I appreciated having more than one plate to mix my paint. I still managed to get paint on me despite the apron however water and my scrub daddy sponge managed to get it out. Merry Christmas

The class was brilliant I can't believe me and my non-arty friends were able to create a cute cow in a few short hours. The instructor, Jo, was the loveliest woman, very helpful, warm and friendly. The venue was a disappointment but this wasn't Class Bentos fault - they were moved from their designated room at the last minute by the venue due to a double booking and squashed into a small and noisy space. I'll be contacting the venue to answer for this. Regardless, it was a really fun experience with some lovely participants. We got so engrossed in the painting that we forgot to drink our drinks! Definitely will make more time to enjoy our drinks after the next session. Thanks Jo for a great experience!

Teacher, Jo, was very friendly and put us all at ease. She explained the brushes and how best to use them, gave good advice and guidance at each step.
Jo was even polite and complimentary of our art pieces.
It was a very relaxed evening with a lot of laughs. Great night.

First time painting with Jo and had a lovely evening. Venue was well set up with all the equipment ready and waiting. Good instructions with lots of help and advice when needed. This was mu third brush party and loved all of them. Definitely won't be my last.
