This was my second painting event with Jo. I was on my own as my friend couldn’t make it but I felt part of the group as I walked in the room, lovely friendly greeting from Jo and the rest of the group were chatty and welcoming.
Jo is a great teacher, she goes at a gentle pace, waiting for us all to be ready to go on to the next bit, always patient and willing to help anyone that needs to tidy up those “happy little accidents”.
I loved painting this cockerel, it was a great colourful, fun picture and it was a brilliant night out. I couldn’t recommend this event more.

What a great evening! The venue, Fancott Arms in Toddington was warm and welcoming with friendly staff. Jo was fantastic, very friendly, patient and a lovely personality. Everything that you needed was supplied, brushes, paints an apron to keep you clean and lots of helpful tuition to make you feel like an artist. I was really pleased with my finished painting and will definitely be coming back.
Remember in art, there are no mistakes, just happy accidents
