What is a paint and sip kit?
Paint and sip is a very popular activity where a teacher will guide you through the steps to paint a specific image. There are a plethora of painting classes online where a different image will be focused on. You can try a beautiful landscape or a classic by famous artists like Van Gogh to Picasso. You don’t have to be an expert, and all levels of experience are welcome to join.
Select the class with the picture you most want to paint and a box will be delivered to your home with all the necessary materials. You’ll be watching this painting class online so you can try something new but stay safe while doing it.
For the perfect weekend don’t forget your favourite drinks and snacks. Alcohol is a vital part of the paint and sip kit. Whatever drink you fancy is a perfect accompaniment to your fun. Beer, wine or a fancy cocktail will pair nicely with your canvas and brushes. If you’re not much of a drinker, or just don’t fancy one during your event, no worries! Get whatever makes you happy so you can truly indulge yourself during the live online classes.
You and everyone else attending the session will paint the same thing. This makes these classes non-competitive and instead provides a friendly atmosphere where you’re all equal. It’s not an intense painting class, you just have fun!

In London? Try a wine and paint class to relax!
If you're in the capital and fancy heading out for a bit of creative escapism, our London paint and sip classes are a brilliant way to de-stress, have some fun and learn some new art skills in a chilled environment.
Head along to a paint and sip session with your friends, family, partner or colleagues and learn to paint a lovely landscape, a charming classic or some fun pop art with a delicious glass of wine in your hand.
Painting is a great way to unwind
The painting kits are not only fun things to do at home but can also be very therapeutic. Painting is a great stress reliever, it’s a cathartic emotional release for the anxieties and worries you might have stored up. And lower-stress levels lead to a happier life as it improves your mental health.
Creative hobbies like painting can also boost your confidence and optimism. It distracts you from whatever is plaguing your mind and lets you enjoy life for a few hours. You then have a stunning painting for you to hang on your wall to remind yourself of your incredible talents and the joy you felt while painting.
Art helps us express complex and abstract emotions that might otherwise be left unsaid if you don’t have the words or means to express yourself. Paint and sip at home can help with your emotional growth. As you reflect on your thoughts, it can make you more articulate about your feelings and better at expressing your mood, as well as your fears and wants. It’s a great opportunity to improve yourself and have fun doing it.

It also strengthens the mind and the hands
Painting is a brilliant way to keep your mind active, as people who often use creative outlets are less likely to develop memory loss related illnesses when they get older. It’s perfect if you’re looking for productive things to do at home to keep yourself entertained and engaged, and is a great alternative to scrolling through social media.
Working with a paintbrush also improves your dexterity and helps with the mobility of your hands. As you make regular hand movements you stimulate your brain, this develops the fine motor skill of your fingers and develops good hand-eye coordination. So these painting kits can really keep you healthy in many ways.

And makes for fantastic Zoom date ideas
You’ll want to share this relaxing hobby with your friends, family or partner as it works well as a group activity. It is a great way to connect with the people you love and keeps you social when you’re feeling lonely. Paint and sip at home is an excellent answer for when you need some isolation date ideas for you and your other half, and it works well for friendship groups or work teams too.
As you paint, you and your painting pals will have some great chats and crack a few jokes as you catch up over the brushes and easels. This online craft class is a fantastic way to make this weekend full of laughter.
It’s a memorable experience that you will treasure for the smile it put on your face and the great conversations you had. Plus you get a physical memento to remind you of all the fun you had making your masterpiece!
Painting kits can help you appreciate the arts
Spending your time doing paint and sip at home can really help you fall in love with the arts. It might inspire you to go out to some galleries or museums when isolation is over, giving you more fun ways to spend your time and enlighten your mind. There are some great documentaries for you to find out more about your favourite artist.
You’ll also develop your creativity and feel more imaginative. This will make you want to seek out other fun and artistic hobbies so you can flex your new interest. There are so many wonderful ways to express yourself, but painting is a great place to start.
Spark some joy in your weekend with DIY painting kits! Paint something you’ll be proud of and unwind with a drink, a fab way to spend your time when you need fun things to do at home.
