What you'll do
Start your sewing journey with this special class for beginners in Brighton!
Learn from a talented teacher how to use a sewing machine to make a stylish tote bag or cute 40cm square cushion, with your choice of fabric.
On arrival at Sew in Brighton, you’ll meet your friendly fellow students and your talented teacher, before spending your lesson getting creative whilst learning to sew and making a fun and rewarding sewing project.
Throughout the class, you'll be guided step-by-step by your knowledgeable teacher and will learn new techniques, tricks and tips to get you started on your sewing journey.
By the end of this relaxing and laid-back craft class, you'll have your beautiful textile creation to keep and the skills to kick start your new hobby, sewing! Whether you're looking to hone your skills or simply for some fun things to do in Brighton, this sewing class is sure to put a smile on your face!
Please note:
- Minimum age: 7 (under 18s must attend this class accompanied by a non-paying adult as their dedicated helper who will work on their sewing project with them).
- During this class you will use a modern Janome 525S or 725S sewing machine.
- Included is a free last-minute drop-in to a Stitch! General Sewing and Clothes Making Class when there is space on the day. This can be used to finish off anything not quite completed in your booked session(s) or to start a new project
