  • 5/5 from Lorraine Campbell, attended Jun 2026: I enjoyed the workshop and learned a lot. Chloe in Eastbourne was patient, knowledgeable, kind and enthusiastic. She put me at my ease, answered my questions no matter how daft and share her obvious love of crocheting and her considerable talent with me. It was a lovely session.
  • 4/5 from Linda Hooper, attended May 2026: It was so helpful to have someone show me what to do in person. I have previously tried to to how to crochet on YouTube and I didn't get very far at all. The group was a small mixed ability class but Chloe was able to give each of us some individual attention.
  • 5/5 from Katherine Saunders, attended Apr 2026: Chloe was really good and explained everything in details. I can now start crochet with the basics.
  • 5/5 from Tracy Angela Pearson, attended Apr 2026: Chloe was extremely patient & broke down each step with explanation & a visual of what we were learning. She helped us to learn new stitches as well as a ‘ next stage on’ for future reference. Chloe explained about some free patterns provided by Hobbycraft & offered to support should we need to pop in & get help at any point. Very informative class & would recommend A++++
  • 4/5 from Miss Louise Pellett, attended Apr 2026: Was a lovely time, not too many people so we were all able to ask questions. Very helpful lady took the class, sorry have forgotten name!
  • 5/5 from Alison Collings, attended Mar 2026: I completed this class today, and it was great. I have never crocheted before. By the end of the class, I was able to start and create the first stitch line, then practice two types of stitches, which I would use to create several items using crochet (e.g., granny squares, animals, clothing). I was inspired to make a large sloth (an example that we were given in class, see photo). The class materials included 2 balls of wool, instructions and a crochet hook in a bag. The instructor was patient and knowledgeable. I would recommend this class to anyone, even if you have no experience.

  • 5/5 from Mrs Nikkie Hayman, attended Nov 2025: Really enjoyed my beginners guide to crochet class. Chloe was a very good teacher, extremely knowledgeable and I now feel confident to practice the basics on my own. She was able to answer any questions I had, she was very patient and explained everything so it was easy to understand. She also gave some very good tips about changing colours, reading patterns and checking stitches. The goodie bag was very exciting and included everything you would need to get you started and included printed instructions to follow aswell.

  • 5/5 from Dana Burring, attended May 2025: I've been wanting to join this workshop for ages but as it's been on a Monday I've been working but it being on a bank holiday meant I could finally join the workshop which I was so excited about. We learnt about the chain stitch, double crochet stitch and a Treble stitch. Chloe was our teacher and was very patient, it took me ages to get to grips with my hand technique and the chain stitch and I was ready to give up on myself but Chloe didn't. I managed to master the chain stitch and try the double crochet stitch and I'm really proud of myself. I'm glad I did an in person workshop for this rather than online because having the person with is so helpful when you don't know what you just did wrong at the time. We were able to ask questions and we were told about how each stitch would help with our own personal projects that we wanted to do. So much knowledge was given and we had handouts which were so helpful! I really couldn't recommend this Workshop more, it was brilliant.
  • 5/5 from Alison Davy, attended May 2025: Chloe was fantastic, very patient and explained each step perfectly. Always happy to step in when I messed up and very encouraging. She was so friendly and kept the session really light and happy. I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and you should consider Chloe as a true ambassador for your brand. Many thanks. Xx
  • 5/5 from Lisa Waterhouse, attended Apr 2025: Thank you Chloe - what a lovely and informative class - I now understand what I need to practice Kind regards Lisa Waterhouse
  • 5/5 from Allie Slater, attended Mar 2025: I enjoyed my beginners crochet class. Great teacher (Chloe?) - she was patient, encouraging, knowledgeable and clearly passionate. Would thoroughly recommend. I was the only person in the class which made me feel a bit awkward at first but actually it was a blessing in disguise as it meant I got undivided attention (and I definitely needed it). Along with the class you get to take home two lovely balls of yarn, a crochet hook and instructions for the stitches taught. When I got home I practiced the chain stitch and was pleased with how it turned out. Happy with what I learnt and hope to continue.
  • 5/5 from Sarah Reed, attended Feb 2025: Offer 6 / 12 week courses so projects can be completed and more stitches practised. Thanks
  • 5/5 from Fay Watts, attended Dec 2024: Instructor was super-really friendly and helpful. I did feel however that it felt quite rushed and I struggled to keep up. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will likely book another class.
  • 5/5 from Gill Doyle, attended Dec 2024: Chloe was really good very patient would recommend this class as came away with the basics to continue thank you

  • 5/5 from Sharon Stephens, attended Nov 2024: Chloe at Eastbourne was a great teacher & very patient with those of us who were struggling a bit.
  • 5/5 from Ellen Elizabeth Tuff, attended Nov 2024: I really enjoyed this workshop, thank you to Chloe who was very helpful and very knowledgeable in her subject. she was very good at working with everyone individually. I will definitely be signing up for more workshops.
  • 5/5 from Catherine March, attended Nov 2024: It covered the fundamentals of crochet and all required items were provided including instructions to take home
  • 5/5 from Catherine Risseeuw, attended Nov 2024: Nice small group of learners which meant lots of access to the teacher for ideas and tips. Liked the manner of the teacher who didn’t make anyone feel uncomfortable, was very patient and took time to explain things.
  • 4/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Nov 2024: Chloe was a very patient teacher. Venue was OK, but stacked boxes meant Chloe had to keep detouring round them to reach all of us. The materials provided were good, I would have liked a basic pattern to follow, so that I could learn to read a crochet pattern.
  • 5/5 from Amanda Percival, attended Oct 2024: Chloe was great, really clear instructions, spent enough time with each student and also was quick to help when needed. The venue was easy to get to and the space was large enough, was not marked though so was hard to tell if this is where the class would be. Good value for money, taken away 2 (and maybe 3) basic crotchet stitches and given me the confidence to dive into my first project
  • 5/5 from Claire Borsoi, attended Oct 2024: Really good class. Very patient teacher… just the right number of students and just great
  • 5/5 from Ilaria, attended Oct 2024: It was amazing! I really liked the teacher. I've learnt the basics of crochet and I feel I can already create something, with just one lesson. I think the price was really good, considering they provide 2 yarns and one hook, and you are obviously paying for the lesson itself.
  • 5/5 from Vaila Saunders, attended Sep 2024: Thoroughly enjoyed our class, Claire was very patient with us especially as we are both lefties.. she made is easy to understand. We were lucky there was only the two of us so we had her undivided attention. The hook, wool and bag were very good. All in all we felt it was good value for money and we will recommend it to our friends who also want to learn how to crochet.
  • 5/5 from Honey Overs-Pearson, attended Sep 2024: Really enjoyed this class! Chloe was lovely and thorough and answered all our questions! Very helpful.

  • 5/5 from Stephanie Westphal, attended Jul 2024: Chloe taught me how to do a basic and double crochet stitch in the most friendly and patient way. I joined three other ladies for this class and came away feeling confident about crochet. Thank you Chloe.
  • 5/5 from Judith Edwards, attended Jul 2024: I had a lot of tips from Teacher found her very good explained everything would do another class but would like longer.
  • 5/5 from Caroline Fry, attended Jun 2024: I have wanted to learn to crochet for a few years, but wanted an in-person training session so signed up. Although it was a 'group' event, I was the only person. I found this brilliant and would book an individual session for any future event. Chloe was very clear, patient and welcoming. She asked what I would like to do - which was start from scratch - and gave me a fabulous introduction to crochet, and the key different stitches which I was able to practice. She asked what I would like to do in the time available, and also took time to explain different yarns and needles and show them to me, along with crochet books. The materials provided were great, and I loved the way they were presented in a bag to take home, along with written instructions which I have referred to already since I came home. The session was held at a table in the store which was good, apart from quite regular distractions from customers asking for help with things. Chloe did her best to manage this, and was able to point them in the right direction to get help from others etc whilst I practiced my stitches. Chloe was perfect and I'd thoroughly recommend her and the training itself. If / when I am more competent I would consider booking a one-to-one session to learn more techniques.

  • 5/5 from Alice Robertson, attended Apr 2024: Great introduction and nice that we get a takeaway kit. Whilst still difficult for me I progressed further than I ever have watching YouTube tutorials or reading kids guides! Having someone o hand to correct your mistakes makes it a lot easier!
