What a great workshop! Lots of materials and variety, and simple but very effective techniques that were easy to follow. The facilitator was really patient and helpful with the kids, and I had a great time too! Lots of ideas to follow at home too! Brilliant!

Brilliant workshop! I was so impressed with the results. Maria was great at guiding us through the process, even managing such a large group. The materials were really good, and the final baubles look so good, I'm going to gift some as presents.

This is definitely been one of my favourite classes, and I was so happy woth the results. So simple and so effective! The teacher was really helpful and patient too.
Only loses one star because the fake flowers provided were not the same as the teacher had, and they couldn't be used as they left little bits stuck in the clay that I had to pick out. I wish I'd had the better flowers, but still produced lovely little bowls,

Beginner's Guide to Acrylic Paint Pouring
Ah, we had so much fun woth this one! Great teacher, and really happy woth the results. We tried a few different etchniques and I never would have been brave enough to try this at home, so it was really good to have a go in-store and get messay! I could have done this all day!

Hobbycraft Kids' workshops are always great value. It's great to get out of the house on a rainy day and make mess somewhere else! Great ideas and a lovely facilitator on hand to encourage, advise and help out.

Beginner's Guide to Drawing with Pen and Ink
Learned some new, really simple and effective techniques, and was so impressed with how easy it was to reproduce the design, thanks to the great guidance and inspiration from Rachel. It's so theraputic and addictive too! I have a new hobby! Thanks, Rachel - another brilliant and inspiring workshop with you!

A nice way to spend half an hour with stickers and kits, getting ready for Easter! My daughter always enjoys a trip to Hobbycraft, so the chance to sit in the shop making stuff is exciting for her! (and somebody else cleans up, so great for me too!)

Great clear tuition, but I quickly got left behind. I think rather than trying to cram in a whole design, the workshop should just consist of practising different stitches, and then include a project to go and complete after the workshop. This is what I ended up doing in the workshop itself.
Really enjoyed it though, and another great session from Emma. I just think completing a design in 1.5 hours was a bit too ambitious - but maybe I was just a bit slow!

Is always nice to do kids craft in store where I don’t have to clean up afterwards, but this workshop was a little lacklustre. I’m not sure the facilitator was used to children as she spoke to them as if they were adults rather than 5 year olds, talking about the chemical properties of wax and the pigment in the paint. As a result my daughter wasn’t particularly engaged at first, though we made our own fun in the end…

Another great workshop from Hobbycraft. I had a whale of a time with the very friendly and talented facilitator, and we produced some amazing results. Lots of tips and tricks, different ideas and inspiration. The time flew by! Can’t wait to sign up for more! LOVED IT!

The kids really enjoyed making these, although I did find the workshop a little short, only making one, rather than using the time booked to make a few. Nice ideas for us to make at home, anyway!

Another brilliant and enjoyable workshop. These workshops are such great value, as the price only covers the cost of the materials, and you get great guidance and a wider selections of materials to choose from at the workshops. I love them! Today I had a really helpful and talented teacher who offerred lots of expert advice and guidance and helped me to acheive the look I wanted.

Excellent, friendly staff (BeckY) got the kids interested and engaged, and the time flew by. Lots of metrials to choose from, and we brought home some lovely decorations! The kids' workshops are great value, and best of all - I don't habe to clear up afterwards! :-)

Beginner's Guide to Brush Lettering
Great quality materials, and the facilitator was perfectly lovely, but she was just doing the activity alongside me. I had hoped for some guidance or tuition, not just company while I sat there. I've done online Hobbycraft workshops, which have been great, but the instore ones offer no actual guidance - they just sit there while you have a go. I won't do any more instore ones.

Great teacher with good pacing and very cheat tuition. I really enjoyed learning, and felt comfortable to ask questions.
