In this live online class, you will learn lots of subtle tricks and hints to make a wonderful felt scene. The DIY craft is very simple to pick up and is a cross between embroidery (without threading needles all the time) and painting (without the mess)! Mistakes can be easily rectified and the whole craft is based on relaxation and no stress.

The picture you create aims to emulate watercolour or pastel pictures and in inspired by natural landscapes and coastal imagery. It's a cosy thing to do inside.

In this beginner online class, you will create a miniature landscape picture. The work itself measures 11 cm x 7 cm and is then framed in a modern freestanding or wall hung white frame measuring 17 cm x 12 cm.

The kit comes with felt, fibre and a picture frame. Basic tools are included - a three needle pen tool, single needle tool and coir mat. Further tools are available separately.

We're looking forward to meeting you online and introducing you to a whole new world of crafting.

I enjoyed the class very much. Pip explained the technique and I was able to follow along easily. I managed to produce a half decent picture. I shall have another go and hope I can remember Pips instructions.

Pip was a wonderful teacher and we had a great time. We were all amazed at how our landscapes had turned out and that was thanks to her attentive teaching. She made sure we could see her clearly by setting up an additional camera view and sent us everything we needed to do not just the class but an extra one to perfect our skills. She was a very encouraging teacher and we have definitely got the needle felt bug now! Thanks Pippa!
