M.Y.O (Make Your Own) is The Creative Space for Grown-Ups! Set up by Diana and Sam in October 2017, our mission is to help adults explore their creative side! Everyone is creative, they just need an outlet.

We provide the space, materials, equipment and guidance, so you can flex those creative muscles together. We've hosted over 10, 000 guests in our Central London studio and regularly host creative off-sites, parties, celebrations, team building days and events. We work with companies and brands and run over 14 different creative classes guests can book onto, and can do bespoke ones too.

No experience is required, everything is included and we're BYOB too!

Sarah Beckett was incredible teacher, welcoming, supportive, put you at ease with what you were doing, plus just so lovely to talk to.

Great venue, central and such a lovely chilled crafty environment, all the conviences you require there too.

All the materials provided and a selection, you could print on card or material and take home a finished item and re useable Lino print.

Worth the cost fir everything included, but priceless the experience and taking time out of our crazy days to learn a new skill and be creative. Great socialising event too.

Christmas Lino cutting was such a great choice and was taught everything to continue on your own if you wished too at home. Loved my finished product and also gives you the confidence to try more creative skills.

Just loved the space, great teacher, social aspect and escape from the normal day.

We had a blast at the vinyl printing class! It was a great way to unleash our creativity, which we often forget about thanks to our busy corporate lives. Our teacher, Sarah, was amazing and helped us bring our ideas to life. The array of materials, from plushy vinyl to shimmering rainbow hues, ignited our imaginations. Thank you, Sarah, for an unforgettable evening of artistic exploration!

I deducted one star due to the size of our group. With 15 participants, it was challenging for Sarah to give individual attention to everyone. A smaller group of 7-10 would be more ideal for this kind of class.

Great class overall! Two things could that could really improve the experience :
1. Better time management - the introduction and chatting in the beginning took quite some time, so in the end we barely had time to do the printing itself. It would have been nice if we would start the intro at 6.30 sharp (more or less) and if the instructor would guide us a bit more in terms of timing.
2. Printing - All of us were doing lino printing for the first time so I didn't know that the first print comes out very faint compared to the next ones. The instructor told us that when we were already half way done. It would've been nice if we could make a first 'test' print on a separate sheet so the paint can 'sink in' the template. Otherwise the final work doesn't look neat and homogeneous, which is quite unfortunate.

It was a lovely and tranquil pottery session. It was a small group so it was great to have enough space to converse with other people. Our instructor sarah was lovely and told us about little info
about different clays and utensils so we can decide which one to use. Would definitely recommend and go back for more!

Our teacher Asha was fantastic, and provided encouragement and expertise on painting techniques. Our group had fun doing pottery painting. The options of things to paint were also great.

We had a great experience. The teacher was informative and gave helpful tips as we went. There was good examples of work to inspire us. The class was a good length - I felt like I had a good amount of time to explore my design but the 2 hrs meant I didn’t procrastinate. Jack, our tutor, was very knowledgeable and informative. We were a mixed age group party of 8 (9-71 years), he taught us basic pottery skills, helped where necessary and was very encouraging throughout. We had access to unlimited amounts of clay and most of us made several items ranging from different shaped pots to sculpted frogs and butterflies. A lovely relaxing and productive afternoon.

We came as a family to celebrate my Mum's 70th birthday and had a brilliant time. Jack was superb, very knowledgeable and friendly and great at explaining how to do the task.

He helped us find our creative flair and stepped in if he saw disaster looming!

Instructor was nice but 'teaching' element of the 2.5 hrs took about 15-20 mins and we were pretty much left to our own devices. It would have been helpful to have been given an intro to materials and tools, more information on techniques and at least more than 1 inspiration for what we might try. We were told find something we wanted to paint ourselves so all of us took out our phones and searched online. Poor engagement from the instructor.

It was a lovely evening! Sarah is a fantastic teacher. This was the first time I was taking one of this classes so I had no idea how to go about it. She provided us with material and was really patient and encouraging no matter the times I struggle to thread the needle (which were a lot). She made me feel comfortable and empowered to continue working on this at home. I suffer from anxiety and work is being stressful at the moment. I needed a break and this evening embroidering with Sarah was just the perfect plan. She is also very knowledgeable about mindfulness and wellbeing so her chats and advice helped me a lot. Great class, the candle painting workshop was calm and well organised. The location was very accessible and central. The equipment was good.
It would have been useful to have a little more direction on how to achieve the perfect result but otherwise couldn’t fault it! Love my candle too!

We went in a group of three (as a birthday gift for my mom) and had a great time! Sienna was our instructor and struck a good balance between helpful and friendly, while also giving us the space to get on with our artwork.
We did lino printing on tea towels and were all very happy with how they turned out. We were also able to bring them home straight away.

The idea is really fun but I felt that I was not really given the help I needed to print despite asking/trying to ask for advice. At the end I was told to pack my prints in a certain way with a sheet of paper in between the prints to carry them home, but this resulted in the sheet sticking to the prints and damaging them.

I booked this class for a hen do and it was perfect! The teacher was helpful but not overbearing and we were able to play cheesy music, drink wine and make boob pots. Everyone's pots turned out well, with excellent boobs made by all - definitely an indication of the skill of the instructor rather than the students!

A really lovely day spent with my best friends as one of their 'special' birthday presents, learning a new craft. I liked that we could bring a bottle of cava to the session to celebrate the occasion.
The teacher was really sweet, though halfway through we had to ask her what the next steps were, (we weren't that rowdy honest!). I do recommend this course, it was so much fun and the results were quite incredible, I'll certainly do it again. There's so much scope for using lino print, a wonderful craft to learn, enjoyable and in principle easy to do. Everyone should give it a go and this location was not only central but also quite enchanting inside.

We were a group of 18, which I think is the max that the venue can hold, but we all had our own place, equipment and it was easy to ask questions when needed.

M.Y.O is a great venue/organisation, and will definitely be back to do some more classes!

Sienna was warm, patient and approachable. You can tell she takes great pride and joy in her field of work. Plenty of supplies available to use, lots of references images & a really calming atmosphere that is reminiscent of a school art class, pretty nostalgic. Sienna was very kind in allowing the class to take away some extra material to encourage us to complete our projects in our own time. This was a wonderful experience and would love to embark on another (once i have practiced this for some time).

Although the teacher was helpful and the class itself was enjoyable, we did not think it was worth the £90 paid to participate. The guidance for painting was very basic, no techniques were explained unless specifically asked for and there wasn't even paper towels provided to dry brushes with meaning that the paint inevitably ended up watered down when applied to the pottery.
I painted a bowl which was considered a large item but i'd have expected a little more considering the price of this class.

We visited MYO as part of a work social event and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our teacher, Carla (if I remember correctly!), was awesome - really friendly and informative. The venue was perfect with lots of natural light and inspiration in the form of artwork all over the place. The class itself (lino printing) was really enjoyable. It was a great opportunity for our staff to chat and relax while doing something fun. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect - they even hada link fridge for our drinks.

The class was great fun! The team really enjoyed it and we're all really excited to see how the pots turned out. We were a large group of 13, so the only suggestion I could make is either more time or an extra teacher as it all felt a bit rushed towards the end trying to get everything finished.

I adored the teacher, she was so sweet and patient with all of us. She has an excellent demeanor for teaching and for such a large group learning something new to all of us.

The class is very simple and honestly does not require any prior experience. It’s just good wholesome fun, the only thing I’m sad about is the amount of time, I wish I had more to make a second pot but that’s only because I am a perfectionist and spent ALL my time on one cup! (Hahaha)

I would highly recommend any event, what ever number of people, and what ever experience level. Thank you so much!

We came for our friends birthday on a Friday night. Our host was extremely helpful and very hospitable - the venue was very cute and cosy and we had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to pick our planters up!

Sarah was an amazing teacher, very friendly and helpful.

Some people were 15 minutes late which meant we started 20 minutes later than expected. It felt like a rush to get everything finished and we didn’t complete the pots. My friend only managed to make a pot in that time and didn’t have a chance to add boobs. With sharing the equipment I felt like I was always anxiously waiting for my turn being conscious of time. I found a lot of time I was waiting for the rolling pin and then the paintbrush.

I really rushed to get the boobs on as this was what I booked the class for and didn’t want to only have a pot at the end. I felt a little cheated out of £45 for the experience I had. I was literally rushing to get it semi finished while putting my coat on to leave.

I’m not happy with how my pot turned out and felt a bit disappointed. I would suggest a bit more time for newbies and if people are late start without them. It was my first time doing pottery and I sadly didn’t enjoy it.

I understand it’s not your fault the others were so late but we should have started on time without them.

I do want to reiterate that Sarah was a great teacher and is no reflection on her.

We turned up a little late but still had an amazingly warm welcome from our teacher Sarah. She was super encouraging, friendly and very efficient at teaching us what we needed to make a decent pot. Would really love to go to one of her classes again, really glad we went in the first place. Honestly very ready to suggest this class to everyone I know. The group was super friendly as well so all in all and excellent experience. Can’t wait to book another class.

Carla was amazing! We had the best time. MYO was so light and colourful and the whole groups had never done something like this before and felt like they wanted to do more. The paints and pottery were great and easy to use and Carla was very helpful whenever she could be.

Lovely, friendly teacher. Great little class, fun and enjoyable- I really loved it and it was my first time at MYO- will definitely go to more in future. I made a fabulous tea towel and lesrned how to do it at home.

4 of us came to this class. We're not artistic at all and this was the first time we'd ever done lino printing. We all really enjoyed the class and were surprised at how good the prints were. The teacher was lovely. She really took the time to explain and demonstrate with individuals

I organised a hendo for my friend, we were a group of 8 and we absolutely loved it. The bride had the best experience. Teacher Jack was very patient with us and taught us good pottery skills. It's byob and food hence very budget friendly. Value for money is outstanding, so was the customer service prior to the class. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Loved the class - the teacher was so friendly and accommodating, happy and patient to answer lots of questions and help. We had lots of time to work on our pots after going through some techniques and it was a really chilled class with some lovely people. All very covid safe with social distancing and masks. Had such a lovely time at Christmas wreath making! Jack was a lovely guy who explained things perfectly and offered help and encouragement throughout the class. It was the perfect start to the Christmas season! Learnt some great new skills (how to tie the perfect bow) and came away with a Christmas wreath I’ll cherish for years to come! Who knew I could make such a beautiful wreath!

We had such a wonderful time during our call. The teacher, Carla, was so lovely and friendly. We were able to have a good laugh with her and she was always around if we needed any help. She also made us feel really comfortable and was totally flexible to do the class how we wanted it to be like.

Venue was cosy and homely, though at times was cramped. Not complaining though as we did have 22 people so we were expecting it to be bit of a squeeze. The venue is BYOB and we did exactly that! Carla was great in helping us getting everything sorted and organised.

All materials were provided by the studio and they were more than what we needed. You get given the pottery piece to paint on, brushes, aprons and paints. Honestly, all you need is to bring yourself!

Class was great value for money as we had the studio for 2 hours and we get to take home either a large piece (bowl, plate, mug), 2 medium pieces (salt and pepper
