What you'll do

Learn how to design and create your own lino printed tote bag or tea towel at a colourful central London studio with this craft class!

During this workshop, you'll choose a design, learn how to carve into lino and create a stamp to print your images onto your choice of a tote bag or tea towels. Your friendly teacher will provide step-by-step support and answer any questions as you enjoy a drink and experiment with coloured paints, so you can rest easy knowing you're in good hands.

Whether you're a practised printer or you're trying this calming activity for the first time, this class is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon or evening in London. You'll finish this workshop with some new skills, your finished tote or tea towels and your lino stamp, ready to head home and continue printing!

M.Y.O (Make Your Own) is The Creative Space for Grown-Ups! Set up by Diana and Sam in October 2017, our mission is to help adults explore their creative side! Everyone is creative, they just need an outlet.

We provide the space, materials, equipment and guidance, so you can flex those creative muscles together. We've hosted over 10, 000 guests in our Central London studio and regularly host creative off-sites, parties, celebrations, team building days and events. We work with companies and brands and run over 14 different creative classes guests can book onto, and can do bespoke ones too.

No experience is required, everything is included and we're BYOB too!

Great class overall! Two things could that could really improve the experience :
1. Better time management - the introduction and chatting in the beginning took quite some time, so in the end we barely had time to do the printing itself. It would have been nice if we would start the intro at 6.30 sharp (more or less) and if the instructor would guide us a bit more in terms of timing.
2. Printing - All of us were doing lino printing for the first time so I didn't know that the first print comes out very faint compared to the next ones. The instructor told us that when we were already half way done. It would've been nice if we could make a first 'test' print on a separate sheet so the paint can 'sink in' the template. Otherwise the final work doesn't look neat and homogeneous, which is quite unfortunate.

What a wonderful way to spend a Friday evening!
We had a brilliant time at the lino printing class, it was a great gift for my sister and we left with such lovely tote bags and paper prints.
Sarah was such a great teacher and gave lots of guidance while also letting everyone freedom to get creative.

We went in a group of three (as a birthday gift for my mom) and had a great time! Sienna was our instructor and struck a good balance between helpful and friendly, while also giving us the space to get on with our artwork.
We did lino printing on tea towels and were all very happy with how they turned out. We were also able to bring them home straight away.

Great rainy day activity - good class size so you can get support from the teacher. Very friendly teacher. Only down size was a limited range of colours.

The class and teacher were both great. Everything was provided that we needed and the teacher gave us all lots of help and advice. The venue (MYO) was soooo cute and full of lots of beautiful crafty bits. We were really happy with what we made and would definitely recommend!

Sarah was an excellent teacher, really friendly and gave good instruction.

We were a group of 18, which I think is the max that the venue can hold, but we all had our own place, equipment and it was easy to ask questions when needed.

M.Y.O is a great venue/organisation, and will definitely be back to do some more classes!

We visited MYO as part of a work social event and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our teacher, Carla (if I remember correctly!), was awesome - really friendly and informative. The venue was perfect with lots of natural light and inspiration in the form of artwork all over the place. The class itself (lino printing) was really enjoyable. It was a great opportunity for our staff to chat and relax while doing something fun. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time!
We had plenty of time. So much help and brought loads of own bubbles.
Everything was perfect - they even hada link fridge for our drinks.
Will 100% be doing again and they do “boob mugs” downstairs.
Such an incredible creative space.

Lovely, friendly teacher. Great little class, fun and enjoyable- I really loved it and it was my first time at MYO- will definitely go to more in future. I made a fabulous tea towel and lesrned how to do it at home.
