1. Get the best of British with a scone baking class
Jam or cream first? It's time to find out with this Cream tea baking class in London.
Hosted on a charming houseboat situated in a private marina in East London and learn how to make a delicious cream tea that's also completely vegan!
Your lucky loved one will have a blast whipping up these delightful treats and trying out some creative cream alternatives. And don't forget the jams – they'll try a variety and even learn how to make their very own fresh fruit jam in a snap! But the fun doesn't stop there - they'll finish the session indulging in some English tea from beautiful vintage china and a glass of bubbly. It's all about cosy vibes and delicious treats!
As a bonus, all cat enthusiasts will get to meet Tippi, Tere and Colin's adorable Ragdoll cat from Barcelona. Tippi is a friendly feline who loves meeting new people and is sure to make your experience even more delightful!
Budding baker Daniel O'Connell and his partner had a briliant time on the houseboat, saying:
My partner and I had a lovely time at Tere's vegan afternoon tea class! Both Tere and her boat are lovely, as is Tippi the cat (who we were lucky enough to befriend!). The location itself was easy to find and Tere was waiting for us at the entrance when we got there. All ingredients were provided, were very high quality, and tasted amazing – plus, we got to keep the leftovers! The class was thorough and in-depth, we learned a lot and had a great time doing so. Tere was even kind enough to extend the session, so we were able to go at our own pace and really enjoy ourselves. We'd love to book more classes, if for no other reason than to hear more of Tere's stories! Thank you Tere and Tippi!
