What you'll do
Create a simple charm in sterling silver at this two-hour silversmithing workshop in London. If you'd love to make your own jewellery, this charm making workshop is a great place to get making.
Guided by your expert jewellery designer and maker teacher, you'll learn how to:
- Mark out your charm design.
- Use a piercing saw.
- Operate a drill.
- Add surface texture.
- Finish and polish your final piece.
If you've never tried silversmithing before, no worries! This jewellery making class in London is ideal for beginners and you'll be guided through the creative process step-by-step with plenty of support and guidance from your teacher. Make your charm in a shape and design to suit you. Your teacher can help with ideas too!
By the end of your class, you'll have your own bespoke silver charm to wear with pride or give as a special handmade gift to a loved one. You'll also have a range of new silversmithing and jewellery making skills to use for future projects.

Collette Dawn is a jewellery designer and maker based in Greater London. Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art 20 years ago, with a BA Hons in Silversmithing and Jewellery, Collette Dawn has continued to create private commissions as well as teaching jewellery making classes.
From her studio, Collette Dawn offers tailor-made jewellery making classes and workshops, where you can choose from a selection of projects and learn how to personalise them to suit your own tastes.
