What you'll do
Learn how to make one to three bangles from sterling silver in this creative jewellery making workshop. You will have a choice to make one bangle from heavier gauge wire or two bangles from finer gauge silver.
Ideal for beginners, this workshop will introduce you to the basics of making your own jewellery. There's no need for any previous jewellery making experience, as you'll be guided step by step through the whole process by an expert teacher.
During your workshop, you'll learn:
- How to shape and form a bangle.
- How to use a piercing saw.
- How to anneal silver.
- How to solder silver.
- How to add texture.
- How to finish and polish your final piece.
At the end of the workshop, you'll take home a shiny new sterling silver bangle.
Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

Collette Dawn is a jewellery designer and maker based in Greater London. Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art 20 years ago, with a BA Hons in Silversmithing and Jewellery, Collette Dawn has continued to create private commissions as well as teaching jewellery making classes.
From her studio, Collette Dawn offers tailor-made jewellery making classes and workshops, where you can choose from a selection of projects and learn how to personalise them to suit your own tastes.
