What you'll do
Explore the fun and relaxing world of making jewellery, guided by a supportive and friendly teacher in a private class. Come up with your own DIY jewellery designs and learn how to make a necklace, bracelet, ring or more.
You'll be learning loads of jewellery techniques on this personal journey of making the accessories of your dreams. There will be loads of one-on-one time with the experienced jewellery maker leading the session, so you can be sure you'll always have help on hand.
To arrange your private jewellery class, get in touch with your teacher to discuss this DIY project first. Your teacher will help you figure out what to make for your skill level and wants. This craft class is completely tailored to what you want to learn and is great for solo makers and small creative crews who want to make jewellery together as a fun group activity.
As classes are so bespoke, the price and duration can change. Materials are charged separately once the projects you want to complete have been decided and how long you want the class to be. Your teacher will help you figure it out.
Some jewellery making projects you could make include:
- Rings.
- Necklaces.
- Bracelets.
- Bangles.
- Earrings.
- Stone setting - claw, tube, bezel.
Knowledge required
Beginner friendly, depending on project - e.g. stone setting would require previous experience.

Collette Dawn is a jewellery designer and maker based in Greater London. Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art 20 years ago, with a BA Hons in Silversmithing and Jewellery, Collette Dawn has continued to create private commissions as well as teaching jewellery making classes.
From her studio, Collette Dawn offers tailor-made jewellery making classes and workshops, where you can choose from a selection of projects and learn how to personalise them to suit your own tastes.
