Now I just need to keep practising!
  • 5/5 from Ros Mayers, attended Apr 2026: Penny was really lovely. I arrived 10 minutes late because of traffic but I still felt welcome when I got there and she checked to make sure I could do what was needed to catch up. A really enjoyable lesson, I just wish it could have been longer.
  • 5/5 from Claire Murphy, attended Mar 2026: I was so impressed with how Penny had time for everything single one of us in the small group, helping us and being encouraging. I took home a hook, two balls of yarn, a booklet and loads of enthusiasm to continue!
  • 4/5 from Donna Harper, attended Mar 2026: We all had a lovely time. I thought that probably 5 students was too many for a beginner’s class of an hour and a half. My daughter struggled and I felt needed a bit more one to one, which wasn’t available because of time/pupil ratio. Great that we came away with everything that we needed to crochet. Teacher was very approachable. Car parking a nightmare! And would have been useful to be told it was only 3 hours of parking, as we had to move the car with no knowledge of the area.

The items that you get with the course is really good - 2 balls of wall, a crochet needle, full typed instructions to look back on and a bag to put it all in. Our teacher, Sam, was lovely. She was so patient and easy to understand. She didn't make me feel stupid when I made mistakes and helped me work out what I was doing. By the end of the class I had got the hang of it and really enjoyed the class.
