What you'll do
If you love a little sparkle and want to add tube setting to your jewellery skill repertoire, this is the perfect workshop!
During this day workshop, you will have the opportunity to personally handcraft a set of silver stacking rings, highlighted with a tube-set gemstone. Tube setting is an ideal beginner's method of setting round faceted gemstones.
The first part of the workshop will walk you through the process of making your own set of 3 stacking rings while exploring different surface finishes and textures that can be added to reflect your own personal style. This will be followed by an introduction and hands-on practise of how to tube set a round faceted gemstone. After getting a good grasp of the setting technique, you will move on to incorporating a tube setting to 1 of your stacking rings.

What you'll get
Inclusive of all materials for a set project of 3 silver stacking rings with 1 tube set gemstone on one of your rings. There is a choice of gemstones, full use of tools, and plenty of cups of hot coffee and tea.
What to bring
Since this is a full-day class, please bring a packed lunch with you as shops are a little too far away for the time allocated for the break.Please wear comfortable "work" clothes, with full closed-toed shoes, long hair tied back, and no scarves or big sleeves that could present a hazard. If you wear reading glasses, please remember to bring them with you.
We have ample free street parking in front of the studio.
