Double-Date Pottery Workshop and Challenge

Double date idea in Birmingham for couples!

1 hour Class size 1 on 1     £200 per class

Looking to do something fun and challenging with your partner and another couple?
Specifically designed for couples, this one-hour, double-date throwing challenge is huge fun! Two couples (4 people) pair up and challenge one another in a pottery throw-down. It's the perfect double-date idea for those seeking a challenge.
The potter will provide a brief demonstration before sitting each couple at a pottery wheel, sending the four of you to do some competitive and collaborative throwing.
Work together with your partner to create pots on the pottery wheel alongside the other couple. This challenge requires communication and working as a team. Both couples simultaneously engage to make the tallest or biggest pot.
Each couple will make four pots, with the last one thrown with a twist. Get ready for a competitive throw-down! You'll have up to 50 minutes to make pots, or whichever comes first.
Once you've enjoyed your wheel-throwing experience, you can get your creations fired and glazed for an extra fee. The potter will complete the ceramic-making process for collection approximately 8 weeks later. Just check our add-ons options! The extra fee is for ALL items to be fired (not per item) so just select quantity: 1 upon checkout.
Your booking is private - no potting about with people you've never met before!
Although the listing says 'public class', the studio only has two pottery wheels, so your booking is private - bonus!
The ticket price for this experience is for four people.
