What you'll do
Join me for a fantastic ceramic animal sculpture workshop! In this pottery class in Leeds, you will learn step by step, the key skills and techniques to create your very own unique sculpture. Using clay as your medium, you'll be guided with clear instructions to bring your animal sculpture to life.
Don't worry if you're a beginner, this workshop is designed to be fun and engaging, with a pace that suits you. You'll be amazed at how the process gradually transforms your clay into a beautiful sculpture.
Each workshop focuses on a specific animal, allowing you to explore different forms and characteristics. Whether you choose to create a graceful swan or a playful elephant, you'll learn the techniques to capture the essence of your chosen animal.

Knowledge required
Perfect for all abilities from beginners through to those with experience of clay.
What you'll get
The workshop includes a full days tuition, good quality materials, all sculptors tools, kiln firings, brews and biscuits. Your sculpture will be ready in approx 4-5 weeks to collect once its dried and I have decorated it.The groups are warm and friendly where nobody is left behind – all abilities welcome.
What to bring
Please wear comfortable clothing, there are shops and cafes however I would recommend that you bring a packed lunch.

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team building activity, Christmas party, birthday or hen do.

Hi there, I’m Richard from Twisted Earth Ceramics and I am an award winning ceramic animal artist (amongst other things!) based in Yorkshire in the UK. I was introduced to ceramics many years ago and since that time, my work has evolved through hundreds of hours of studio time, workshops and classes.
I have now incorporated all the best bits I have learned over the years, and developed interesting techniques that I can now teach you! The workshops are all taught step by step and perfect for the complete beginner and for those with experience too.
My workshops run throughout the year, in dozens of locations across Yorkshire and beyond!.
