It is not recommended to be used to store food.You'll start by choosing your ceramic pieces – pick two medium-sized items or three smaller ones from a lovely range of plates, bowls and vases, so you can find shapes that suit your taste and home. From there, it's up to you whether you decoupage or paint: layer on beautifully patterned decoupage paper for an intricate, textured look, or pick up a brush and bring your own designs to life freehand with a full range of colours. Either way, you'll have all the guidance and materials you need close at hand, including decoupage paper, paints, brushes and sealant, so there's nothing to organise beforehand – just turn up ready to create.As you work, you'll get a feel for how colour, pattern and technique come together on ceramic, building confidence with each piece. Once you're happy with your designs, everything is finished with a glossy, glass-like sealant that locks in your artwork and gives it a beautifully professional shine.By the end of the session, you'll walk away with two or three one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces – ready to use, display or gift – along with a relaxing few hours spent doing something entirely for yourself.
