What you'll do
Come for some serious clay play for a kid's birthday party or just to have fun with pottery! This unique experience allows your little artist to craft their very own handmade pottery item like an an adorable bear or a fierce T-Rex!Once their masterpieces are complete, the teacher will fire them in their kiln to harden and preserve your kid's work. After firing, children can choose to take home their creations as they are and decorate them at home or return to the studio at a later date to add vibrant colours with paint.This pottery class provides not only an enriching artistic experience but also a keepsake that will serve as a reminder of their amazing creativity.Accessibility:The studio can accommodate wheelchairs and pushchairs but the door is not automatic so please knock and we can open that for you. Unfortunately, our toilet is not wheelchair accessible, however, The Ridings has a fully equipped toilet which is just opposite the studio.

Nestled away in the lower mall of The Ridings Shopping centre we have created the perfect pottery place. From clay hand building workshops to the pottery wheel experiences or beginners courses in ceramics, parties or corporate events our clay studio has it all including 10 pottery wheels!But that's not all we can offer.. our fantastic onsite cafe has a wide range of pottery available for painting (and yes we even make some of the ceramic bisque onsite too). The cafe also serves delicious food such as afternoon tea, Deli sandwiches and Freshly made Pizzas.
