What you'll do
Join Jasmine Pottery Studio for a creative pottery class nestled in the heart of Wakefield’s Riding Shopping Centre. In this intimate and charming pottery studio, you'll have the chance to mould, shape and create your very own highland cow masterpiece!Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced clay artist, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels. Craft your beautiful bovine masterpiece with guidance from a friendly teacher and all the tools you need.Come immerse yourself in this therapeutic art form and let your creativity roam as free as a highland cow!Accessibility:The studio can accommodate wheelchairs and pushchairs but the door is not automatic so please knock and we can open that for you. Unfortunately, our toilet is not wheelchair accessible, however, The Ridings has a fully equipped toilet which is just opposite the studio.

We are located just outside the Ridings Shopping Centre under the multi-storey car park. If you are driving then head to the Ridings multi story (WF1 1DS) and we are on the same road as the entrance to the car park although there is no parking directly outside the studio.

Jasmine Pottery Studios & Down to Earth Pottery Cafe is located in the heart of Wakefield city centre. Nestled away in the lower mall of The Ridings Shopping centre we have created the perfect pottery place. From clay hand building workshops to the pottery wheel experiences or beginners courses in ceramics, parties or corporate events our clay studio has it all including 10 pottery wheels!But that's not all we can offer.. our fantastic onsite cafe has a wide range of pottery available for painting (and yes we even make some of the ceramic bisque onsite too). The cafe also serves delicious food such as afternoon tea, Deli sandwiches and Freshly made Pizzas.
